CELEBRATING A DECADE OF
DANCE!
Turning dancers and choreographers into household names while inspiring a generation of dancers, the FOX smash hit, So You Think You Can Dance, has revolutionized dance across the country (and across the world). The impact has had a snowball effect from local studios across the United States to creative development for projects in television, film, theatre and stage. It has created career paths for dancers to go on to careers in everything from Broadway – including Melanie Moore in Neverland – to the biggest tours in the World, such as Mark Kanemura leading the charge for Lady Gaga. Now celebrating a decade of dance through 12 seasons of the show, So You Think You Can Dance has celebrated a number of monumental milestones. In this anniversary feature, we take a look at some of the stunning images from this season (as well as a couple from seasons past), chart the careers of some of its notable stars, recount the stunning achievements and awards and take a look at the upcoming tour, possibly coming to a city near you! Happy anniversary, So You Think You Can Dance!
