Day 1 Ljubljana by bike

Private transfer from Ljubljana airport. What a great way to explore Ljubljana on wheels! Not only the main attractions, located in the pedestrian zone, but a unique opportunity to cover a wider area without skipping the cozy stops where locals enjoy soaking up the city vibe. Hop on a comfortable cruiser bicycle and enjoy Ljubljana from a different perspective.

Day 2 Kamnik & Velika Planina mountain plateau

Green pastures of the Velika Planina plateau with traditional herdsmen’s huts, surrounded by scenic views of the Kamnik Savinja Alps. First ascend to the Velika Planina with cable cabin that will take you up on to the green pastures and typical shepards’ huts. Afterwards, head to Kamnik, one of the oldest towns in Slovenia. The tour continues to the source of the Kamniska Bistrica River, one of Slovenia’s clearest rivers. Return to Ljubljana or continue directly to Bled. (B)

Day 3 Romantic Bled, glacial Bohinj lake & Vintgar Gorge with Skofja Loka

From Ljubljana to the Alpine region below the Julian Alps we reach Bled, the magnificent Alpine resort. Ascend the old castle perched on top of a cliff above the glacial Lake Bled. Take a boat ride with »Pletna« and reach the only true island in Slovenia. For the best view and most amazing pictures of Bled Lake together with its island and the Castle, climb up to Ojstrica viewpoint before continuing to the impressive Vintgar Gorge, one of the most stunning natural canyons. This pleasant hike ends with a 13 meter high waterfall Sum. Our next stop is Bohinj, Slovenia’s largest glacial lake, located in the Triglav National Park area. Return to Bled late in the afternoon. Day 4 Alpine region together with magical Kozjak Waterfall

From Bled, head on to the highest Slovenian mountain pass, Mt. Vrsic, with amazing views of the Julian Alps. Possible stop in Kranjska gora (Jasna Lake, Zelenci Nature reserve) on the way to Soca Valley. Upon arrival to Bovec, admire the emerald green alpine Soca River scenery and in case you want to test your adrenaline skills we definitely recommend white water rafting session. One final short hike to the magical Kozjak waterfall before transfer to Goriska Brda wine region and overnight. (B)

Day 5 Goriška Brda – (e)bike & stories of local winemakers

Today your private local guide will show you what Brda is truly known for – amazing nature, warm people, crisp wines and simple but flavourful food. All that from an (e)bike, taking you along the winding trails through the vineyards. Free afternoon or some additional sightseeing and optional winepaired dinner in one of the well-known local restaurants. Overnight in Goriska Brda. (B)

Day 6 Departure

Meet your private driver at your hotel. Private transfer from Goriška Brda to Venice or Ljubljana airport. (B)
