MOMBASA | Day 1 Mombasa – Tsavo East National Park
Day 4 Amboseli National Park – Taita Hills Game Sanctuary
Early morning drive to Bachuma gate of Tsavo East National Park . Tsavo East National Park is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust-red elephants, rhinos, buffalos, lions, leopards, pods of hippos, crocodiles, waterbucks, Lesser Kudu, Gerenuk and Hirola. The prolific bird life features 500 recorded species. Arrive at the lodge, check in and have lunch. In the evening enjoy game drive until sundown. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Early morning game drive at the park followed by breakfast. Check out and drive to the Taita Hills Game Sanctuary, a privately owned wildlife sanctuary. This Sanctuary is a host to a wide array of wildlife including the occasional leopard, cape buffalo, lion, antelopes and zebra. The sanctuary also boasts to host over 300 types of birds. Check in at the lodge followed by lunch. Overnight at the spectacular Salt lick lodge lodge with a special bunker to view the animals up close that come to waterhole.
Day 2 – 3 Tsavo East National Park – Amboseli National Park
Day 5 Taita Hills Game Sanctuary – Mombasa Island
Drive to Amboseli National park. The park lies below the most famous symbol of Africa, Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world. Its snowcapped peak will dominate the background while you marvel at the wildlife and scenery. Underground streams from Kilimanjaro surface in the center of Amboseli, creating swamps that attract and support a rich diversity of wild animals and birdlife. We shall spend two nights here and enjoy morning, afternoon game drives. All meals and overnight stay at your safari camp.
Early morning game drive to grab the best light for photos, breakfast and head back to Mombasa.
