Day 01 – Heidelberg

Arrival to Frankfurt Airport and private transfer to Heidelberg. The name of Heidelberg stands for the world-famous castle and a picturesque old town in breathtaking surroundings. The city is known for Germany’s oldest university and modern research facilities, for historic streets and a lively university atmosphere. Explore Heidelberg during a guided city walk in the afternoon. Overnight in Heidelberg.

Day 02 – Palatinate Region

The Palatinate is one of Germany’s famous wine growing regions, which you will get to know today. Look forward to seeing stunning Schwetzingen Castle and the town of Edenkoben. Stroll through “Theresienstrasse”, a lovely street with small shops and wineries at Rhodt unter Rietburg and have free time in the beautiful town of Deidesheim. Continuation to Baden Baden at the end of the day. Overnight in Baden Baden.

Day 03 – Baden Baden

The morning is at leisure to explore Baden Baden, world-wide known for its thermal baths. Afternoon tour to Strasbourg. The Alsatian capital is a young and dynamic city, with a world-renowned historical heritage. The Old Town Island is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home to all sights that make the city famous: the Cathedral, Haus Kammerzell, “Petite France” or the Covered Bridges. Guided city tour of Strasbourg. Overnight in Baden Baden. In the morning travel to Freiburg. Freiburg Minster, “Bächle” (small streams), delicacies and excellent wine paired with sustainability – this is what the sunny Black Forest metropolis stands for. Feel the special atmosphere of the pleasant and laid-back Baden way of life combined with the flair of an international university city during a guided tour. Remaining day at leisure. Overnight in Freiburg.

Day 05 – Black Forest

The Black Forest girl with the typical traditional hat, the “Bollenhut”, the Black forest house, the Black Forest cherry cake, Black Forest ham or the Cuckoo Clock are all symbols of the Black Forest, which is for sure one of the most beautiful areas in Germany. Explore the region today during a full day guided tour. Overnight in Freiburg.

Day 06 – Lindau

After breakfast continue to Lindau, the small island in Lake Constance offering spectacular views of the Alps. Why does the lighthouse have a clock and what does the colorful painting on the city’s Old Town Hall symbolize? What exotic trees grow here? Learn all about it during a guided city walk in the afternoon. Overnight in Lindau.

Day 07 – Lake Constance

The name of Lake Contance´s third-largest island Mainau is associated with stunning flowers. Today you will explore this unique Mediterranean oasis, which is owned by the aristocratic Bernadotte family still living in the castle on the island. In the

evening a certified sommelier will share his comprehensive knowledge with you during a private wine tasting. Overnight in Lindau.

Day 08 – Nuremberg

Continuation to Nuremberg in the morning. Many historical sights determine the image of Nuremberg’s old town: the Kaiserburg and the large city churches of St. Sebald, St. Lorenz and the Frauenkirche. Picturesque backdrops are provided by the Henkersteg and the Weinstadel, the Albrecht Dürer House and the Heilig-Geist-Spital on the banks of river Pegnitz. The remainder of day at leisure to explore Nuremberg on your own. Overnight in Nuremberg.

Day 09 – Nuremberg

Get to know more of Nuremberg during a guided city walk in the morning. Dive into the impressive history of a town that was once a Free Imperial City and enjoy the amenities of a lively urban place that has more to offer than just a castle and gingerbread. Discover how harmonious the interplay of historic buildings and modern architecture can be on a walk through the Old Town. Enjoy the culinary delights of a city with a century-long beer, sausage and gingerbread tradition. Overnight in Nuremberg.

Day 10 – Regensburg – Passau

Morning drive to Regensburg. Brief stop for a guided city walk. According to Sir Norman Foster the city of Regensburg is one of the most beautiful cities of the world. Its medieval centre is a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2006 and a testimony of the city’s status as cultural centre of southern Germany in the Middle Ages. Travel to Passau in the late afternoon. Overnight in Passau.

Day 11 – Passau

Discover Passau in the morning. Experience history and enjoy the special atmosphere during a guided tour through narrow alleys and to charming plazas. Reliesh a unique journey back in time through 2000 years of history at the location where the rivers Danube, Inn and Ilz meet. High above the old town of Passau is one of the largest fortress complexes of Europe – the Veste Oberhaus. Accessible via the exterior walls, you will explore this remarkable site in the afternoon. Never conquered, never completely destroyed, Veste Oberhaus is a prime example of long-term historical construction. Overnight in Passau.

Day 12 – Departure

After breakfast private transfer to Munich Airport and end of tour.
