Day 1 Antananarivo
Day 6 Fianarantsoa – Antsirabe
Pick up from the airport and transfer to your hotel for an overnight on bed and breakfast.
We are here in the centre of the Malagasy highlands. Villages and rice fields make up the landscape. Stop in Ambositra for lunch and a visit to the craftsmen. We continue our journey to Antsirabe. (B-D)
Day 2 Tana – Tulear - Ifaty Transfer to the airport and flight to Tulear in the South-West. Your guide will welcome you and drive you to your hotel on the seafront in the village of Ifaty. Lunch and relaxation on the beach or by the pool. In the late afternoon, visit of the botanical garden of Reniala to discover the vegetation of the South of Madagascar. Day 3 Ifaty - Ranohira After breakfast, departure for Tulear where we stop for a while at the market to touch the local life. Lunch in town and drive to Ranohira at the gateway to the park. (B-D)

Day 4 Isalo national park This day is devoted to visiting the park. In the company of a local guide, we will discover the fauna and flora as well as the superb landscapes that are described as ruiniform. The duration of the walk depends on the will of each person. Picnic in the heart of the park. Return to the hotel at the end of the day. (B-L-D)
Day 7 Antsirabe - Tana We take the time this morning to meet the population in the village of Betafo. A local guide acts as an interpreter and tells us about their mainly agricultural way of life. We are cordially welcomed, in all simplicity. Lunch in Antsirabe and drive to Tana. (B-L-D)
Day 8 Tana - Andasibe After descending the Mandraka escarpment, we reach the eastern forest. We arrive at the village of Andasibe, gateway to the Perinet/ Analamazoatra Park. Check-in at the hotel on the edge of the forest. Before dinner, night visit of the private reserve of the lodge. (B-D)
Day 9 Perinet national parc It is in this rainforest that the largest lemur of Madagascar can be found: the Indri-indri.

Its morning call resounds from the top of the trees, the atmosphere is very strange. Other species of lemurs live in this site. The dense vegetation is also very rich. We continue our journey towards the Pangalanes Channel and the village of Manambato from where we board a boat that we have privatized. Night on board. (B-L-D)
Day 10 The Pangalanes Channel to Palmarium It is on board our boat, with a quiet navigation, that we go to the village of Ankanin’ny Nofy (the dream corner). We take the time to stop in the fishermen’s villages. The sea is very close, we go walking on the beaches. Surprising encounter at the edge of the canal with the most bizarre of creatures: the Aye-aye lemur. The meals are taken on board. The evening is spent on the deck of the boat under the southern sky. Day 11 The Pangalanes Channel to Tamatave Before leaving the site, we go for a walk in the Palmarium reserve where many species of lemurs have been gathered. The approach is easy. Still with our boat we sail along the Pangalanes for a few hours to Tamatave, the big port of Madagascar. Transfer to your hotel. (B-L-D)
Day 5 Ranohira - Fianarantsoa
Day 12, 13 & 14 Ste Marie Island
After crossing the immense Horombe plateau, we stop at the small community reserve of Anja to greet the catta lemur (ring tailed lemur). In Ambalavao, we visit the Antemoro paper factory, an amazing process. Continue to Fianarantsoa. (B-D)
A short domestic flight brings you to the charming little island of Ste Marie. Transfer to your hotel where you will stay for the next 3 nights. Days at leisure. You are free to choose your activities, the best way to move around is by bicycle or motor bike. Visit pirate graveyards

or just ride along the beach and villages. You can go to “Ile aux Nattes” at the very south of Ste Marie, then take a canoe to go across the lagoon to the other side, the tour of the island on foot along the beach is enchanting. Small restaurants or hotels are along the way to stop for lunch or to refresh. You have a possibility for a sea outing, diving or snorkelling towards the coral reef in this clear water. A lazy day is also an option … the decor, the warmth and ambience lend themselves perfectly! (B-D)
Day 15 Ste Marie - Tana After breakfast, transfer to airport for a domestic flight to the capital. Reception at the airport and assistance for your outbound flight. (B) NB - the programme for this day will depend on the domestic flight schedule.
