The general elections held recently in Brazil chose the president who will lead the largest country in South

America. Brazil is one of the most important economies on the planet and it is linked to the Bric group (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa), a group that represents a balance in world geopolitics.

led in the first electoral round, on October 2 by a very small percentage over the current president, presidential candidate and ex-soldier, Jair Bolsanaro.

La question religieuse continue d’être un enjeu électoral central. Le secteur qui soutient Bolsanaro a poursuivi ses agressions contre les religions afro-indigènes brésiliennes.

Dans la religion Yoruba il y a la légende

d’Abiku, qui représente la fatalité, la mort précoce ou prématurée, comme me l’ont exprimé différents représentants des religions à matrice africaine à Belo Horizonte. Lorsque la pandémie a fait des centaines de milliers de morts au Brésil à cause de la mauvaise gestion du président Bolsanaro, on dit qu’il était possédé par Abiku.

Pourtant, des millions de religieux afro-brésiliens considèrent Lula comme Olorun. Il est le soleil. Il est la lumière, la vie qui surmonte la mort et les ténèbre.
