Intheearly2000s,Isawfirsthandhowcompanies struggledtoextendtheirMobileBarcodeScanning,POS, andPrintingTechnologylifecycle.OriginalEquipment Manufacturers(OEMs)wouldsellacompanyaterminalor deviceandthencomebackwithin2-3yearsandsaythatthe onlywaytheycouldsupportthatdevicewasifthecompany upgradedtoanewterminal.
Itwasextraordinarilycostlyforthecompanies(notto mentionexceptionallyfrustrating),andIsawanopening andanopportunitytostepinandfillaneedwiththeability toofferthird-partymaintenancesupportservicesona technologythathada7–10-yearlifespan.So,whenwe originallylaunched,wewouldpartnerwiththecompanyto managethemaintenanceandservicesofthedevicesothe endusercouldextendthelifecycleoftheirtechnologiesand upgradeontheirownschedule–notaschedulebeing dictatedbyOEMs.

Tosumitup–expansion.Wehavemadehugestridesover thepastseveralyearstofocusonandexpandouroperations inCanadaandEurope.Thatwillcontinuetobeahugearea forusoverthenextfiveyears.Andwecontinuetoexpand ourteam--we'vehired75peoplewithinthelastyearin differentareasofthebusinesstomanagethedemandandto ensurewehavetherightskillsetstomatchwhereour customersare.
Forexample,wehavetripledourMDM(MobileDevice Management)teaminunder12months.Aswecontinueto strivetobethebestinenterprisemobilitymanagement,we willconstantlylooktobringonnewtalentto helpusscale.
