On a Quest to Create an Evident World
The journey of choosing a profession starts very young when we are trying to define who we are and what we choose to become while we grow up. We look around, searching for role models, and contemplate becoming firefighters, nurses, policewomen, and others. Such was also the case with Louise Hampton.
Growing up, Louise knew that she wanted to help people but did not land the exact career to pursue until she saw a chiropractor at work. Observing the chiropractor help elevate people’s pain left a deep impression on 15-year-old Louise, and she went on to get a degree in chiropractic studies from the University of South Wales.
Today, Louise is the proud Owner and Head Chiropractor at Attend2Health, a successful clinic employing 4 Chiropractors, 3 Physiotherapists, 1 Osteopath, 1 Podiatrist, 3 Sports Massage Therapists, a Hypnotherapist, a Nutritional Therapist, and a Private GP. She is also a trustee of the Chiropractic Research Council and has written a book called ‘How to eliminate low back pain and achieve longterm relief.’
Louise Hampton shared her quest to help people be painfree with Insights Success:
Louise, briefly describe your professional tenure in the niche up until now.
I graduated from the University of South Wales in 2004 in Chiropractic. I first set up a clinic with a colleague in Birmingham and was part of that clinic until 2007. I then sold my share of that clinic to move to Buntingford and started Attend2Health 15 years ago. At that time, I also sat on the British Chiropractic Associations Council and was awarded a fellowship by the British Chiropractic Association.
Since starting Attend2health, it has expanded over the years and moved into new premises two years ago. I have also just become a trustee of the Chiropractic Research Council and am looking forward to raising funds for this worthwhile cause.
What challenges did you face along the way?
When I first started Attend2Health in Buntingford, I was new to the area, and so it took time to build up a patient base. It was very scary as the recession of 2008 soon hit as well as trying to afford rent and pay a receptionist.
I had my first child in 2009, so that also meant trying to juggle work life with being a mum. It was a tricky few years when the children were young, but it is amazing what you can fit into a day! As the clinic grew in popularity, we only had a small reception area at the first clinic, so we were limited to just one receptionist working at a time. The first clinic also got very hot in the summer as there wasn’t any air conditioning.
We decided to move premises at the end of 2020, which was a crazy time due to covid, but it also meant that as we had nothing else to do, we could spend the time painting and doing work at the new clinic. Now we are in the new premises, it is wonderful having the extra space, but obviously, our costs are higher, and so with another recession looming, it will be a tough year or so with the higher energy prices and interest rates to deal with.
What significant impact have you brought to the healthcare industry?
I feel that Attend2Health allows many healthcare professionals to come together under one roof and work together. We all learn so much from each other in training, and it is great to see how each professional works and what areas we are all best at treating.

Tell us about Attend2Health and its foundation pillar.
Attend2Health has many healthcare professionals working from the same clinic. We have Chiropractors, an Osteopath, Physiotherapists, a Podiatrist, Massage Therapists, a Hypnotherapist, a Counsellor, an Acupuncturist, Reflexology, GP services, and an Audiologist.
How does Attend2Health promote workforce flexibility, and what is your role in it?
Everyone tends to work a couple of shifts a week at the clinic. They have chosen what shifts work best for them, and the diary highlights when they are available so patients can be booked in.
What is your take on technology’s importance, and how are you leveraging it?
We now have online booking for some disciplines, and we are looking at patients filling in forms on an iPad to reduce the amount of paper we use. All our doors lock with key fobs making the clinic very secure, and we use a ring alarm that can be accessed via a mobile phone.
Treatment-wise, we have a laser treatment, and the GP is using some new techniques, such as ThermaVein, which is excellent at treating blemishes on the face. He also uses a procedure called PRP to treat hair loss.
What will be the next significant change in the healthcare industry, and how are you preparing for it?
I think as the NHS becomes more overwhelmed, people realize they may need to be paid to access some treatments, and so we can help reduce their wait for Physiotherapy, for example. We are also looking at having private GP appointments in the future.
What are your goals in the upcoming future?
We are slowly starting to use more of the upstairs at the clinic. We will be running more first aid courses and have a massage room upstairs as well as the room up counsellor there.
I am also through to the final of the National Women’s Business Awards for the Influential Business Woman of the Year.
What advice would you like to give the next generation of aspiring business leaders?
Our clinic is a real team effort with lots of fantastic people working to help. Listening and compassion are the most important things you can do as a leader.
When you understand your employees and other practitioners, you can make sure they are as happy as possible and can then provide the best possible treatment for patients. It is also very important to give back to the community.
Attend2Health does this by sponsoring local teams such as the Buntingford Bowls Club and the Buntingford Cricket Club. We also try and raise money for charity and raised over £600 for the Buntingford Food Bank in March.

Rising to the Challenges

A Leader in the Making
“As a young Hispanic woman working in male dominated industries, needless to say, I wasn’t exactly handed anything until it was ‘earned’, Rachel told us, reflecting on her experience in the corporate world. She worked exceptionally hard to be taken seriously when she had new ideas and strategic recommendations. “I was first to arrive in the morning and the last to leave. I took the initiative and made it clear to whoever was in the room that I was a strong asset and someone to be respected and appreciated. I always came prepared.”

Founded By Two Women Who Wanted More
Mountain Air Marketing (MAM) was founded by two young women who wanted more. Owners Rachel and Carly were young women who were each growing their own family and growing a business together all at one time. “We wanted the best of both worlds,” noted Rachel. “We wanted to be home with our babies AND be successful women in the world of entrepreneurship.”
As they started building the business and creating MAM’s culture, they soon realized what their mission was. Their mission was to create an opportunity for like-minded
maintaining the relationships between Indian reservations and Lockheed Martin’s Department of Renewable Energies before graduating college, Rachel’s hard work started to pay off. At the age of 23, she was managing the marketing efforts for an international mining firm and its 11 international offices.
Fast forward a few years, Rachel was scouted by several large companies to run their marketing efforts. Through the exponential course of doubling her salary in every position she took, Rachel grew to be a strong and highly desired professional.

Rachel exclaimed, “Loyalty wasn’t really something I was concerned with. It was the money. I had doubled my salary in every position. For me, it was the excitement and ability to be pushed and try something new. At the age of 26, I was a well-traveled young professional who worked with high level delegates and leaders.”
professionals who also wanted the best of both worlds. Whatever that meant. Rachel insisted, “it isn’t just for the mamas we hire, it’s for those who look for balance, inspiration, creativity and wanting to be part of a hardworking team.”
When we asked Rachel what her vision is for MAM she readily replied “Our vision often changes for us, and that’s okay. Carly and I are always talking about the future of the company. Even at dinners out with our husbands and on vacation, that topic seems to always arise. We don’t really know what we ‘vision’ the company to do. Life happens. What we do know for sure is that we envision building a team of highly skilled individuals who love where they work and appreciate the opportunity. We look for members in our company to take key roles in the agency so that Carly and I can find more balance. Currently as a women owned and women operated agency, we look to set a good example that smart women who work together and fix each other’ s crowns, create magic.”
Preparing for More Privacy
Mountain Air Marketing is a thriving business with a team of highly skilled, young women in Colorado Springs. In less than five years, the boutique marketing agency won 15+ awards, including “Top 30 Digital Marketing Agency in the US, 2019 by UpCity.” MAM has been recognized for its leadership and niche offerings in the digital space.
We asked Rachel about her thoughts on the ever changing landscape of privacy rights and how it impacts MAM and their clients. “Privacy Rights are something we read about every day. As you all already know… you spend A LOT of time on your phones. You post about everything you do. You research and search about your wants, desires and needs and up until recently, that behavior has been meticulously tracked. It’s clear there is a growing awareness of digital privacy. Come 2023, Google will be eliminating cookies on websites which track users’ behaviors and offer a bit more privacy options for consumers. Facebook is taking away over 40% of its audience types to target, Google Analytics isn’t as informative as it used to be and with the big iOS update, things are quickly changing for both the customer and business when it comes to targeting. Now is the time for businesses to use a marketing company and get as much data on their user’s behavior before they lose the opportunity,” Rachel advised.
Words of Wisdom
Rachel’s rich experience in business and entrepreneurship yields light to why MAM has become nothing shy of a successful agency in just a few short years. She described that her partnership with Carly has been the best business decision she has ever made. Rachel continued to say that running a business is tough and needs a lot of attention the first few years, and having a business partner that works just as hard through the long days of growing a business is exactly what a budding entrepreneur may need to get o ff their feet. Rachel continued to say, “Finding a partner that has strengths in your weaknesses is key. Successful entrepreneurs never do it alone. If you think they do, you’re mistaken.”
In addition to finding that complimentary business partner, Rachel emphasized the importance of systems, controls and processes. She emphasized her thought “If a business isn’t organized internally, how can it successfully support the customer? 2021 was the year of controls for MAM. We knew that if we built the right team and a VERY streamlined internal system, we will be able to significantly scale in 2022. With Forbes calling 2021 the Year of Resignation, we anticipate 2022 to bring in new businesses and opportunities into the market.

Brief our audience about your journey as a business leader until your current position at The Job Doctor. What challenges you have to overcome to reach where you are today?
I started my journey as a single parent, just past the age of 30, when I found myself a mother of three, and now responsible for caring for three children, making a house payment, without a college degree or formal training in any particular career. In one of the most fortuitous happenings in my life, I ended up working with legendary Stephen R. Covey and his company, where I learned success principles that still guide me today. If you fast forward twenty years, I became the head of human resources within Fortune 50 company and in fast-growing publicly traded companies. I left at the height of my career as head of Human Resources at Vivint Solar to pursue business on my terms. I first led out helping women find their footing—especially those who may have been impacted by divorce or unanticipated life events.
A year later, when the pandemic hit, I was locked in my house and had to re-imagine a business model, and The Job Doctor was born. I realized I could help both men and women reclaim their workplace satisfaction and come to the other side of the corporate fence, showing people how to navigate their careers. Within one year, I have almost 1,000,000 followers across multiple social platforms, and I have made guest appearances on GMA, The Doctors, as well as listed as one of the top entrepreneurs to watch in 2022 by USAToday and Disruptor Magazine.

My goal is to help people get the job, get the pay, and get the confidence they need to pursue the career that brings them fulfillment. Enlighten us on how you have made an impact in the HR niche through your expertise in the market.
You always hope you are making a difference, and for me, it’s the 200 emails I get each day from people who are either seeking help or have used my principles to help improve their work-life. Sometimes I get to see up close and personal a client gets the big promotion, or take the step away from work to commit to a living dream in another facet of life. Seeing a former sex trafficking victim find a career is just one example of many that I have.
Undeniably, technology is playing a significant role in almost every sector. How are you leveraging technological advancements to make your solutions resourceful?
Technology made my business scalable. I use a CRM, and several plugins, in order to fulfill client rent-my-brain sessions and deliver small group masterclass mentoring. While I thought I would be overbuilding when I first started, the day we turned on my website, I began getting orders. It has allowed me to serve people across the world, not just in my own community.
And social media, especially TikTok, which I had always thought was a forum for teenage pranks and dance-offs have connected me to executives, writers, new college graduates, and so many other individuals who enrich my life and my business.
If given a chance, what change would you like to bring to the HR industry?
I’d like to move from human resources to HUMANE resources, where employees aren’t a cog in the machine but instead a whole person, with needs, emotions, and a life outside of work. When we see employees instead as people, it makes a huge difference.
What, according to you, could be the next big change in HR industry? How is The Job Doctor preparing to be a part of that change?
Businesses are not responding fast enough to the changing needs of today’s workforce. Millennials and Gen Z are not our parent’s generation where long term benefits like pensions or 401k, or life insurance were needed. Today’s workforce cares about mental health, not long-term disability, and variable pay that rewards immediately for performance rather than annual increases.
The employers who respond to the flexibility requirements, a more immediate reward system for excellence, and the pain points around getting basic needs like housing and transportation secured, will have access to previously untapped workers and will win the hearts and minds of the most talented people.
Where do you envision yourself to be in the long run and what are your future goals forThe Job Doctor?
Some people have just a job. Some have a fulfilling career, and a few lucky others, like myself, have a calling. I want to change people's lives and create the means to have a good life and provide for their families. I see the realization of a dream to help hundreds of thousands of people through a show similar to Home Makeover, where I take individuals and in 24 hours, do a makeover on their resume and their interview to help them improve their lives.
What would be your advice to budding entrepreneurs who aspire to venture into the business sector?
Even if you don’t know what to do next, do something every single day to create energy. When you take action every single day, it WILL move you forward. You don’t have to see the whole vision at once. You only need to know what the next FIRST step is.

The Immense Rise
Tracy garnered various skillset that ultimately led her to start a business helping other entrepreneurs and creatives build their global brands and reputations for thought leadership as a young advocate for causes she cared about. With no financial resources, no formal backing - nothing more than an internet connection and an old computer in the apartment she rented at the time - and a whole lot of selfbelief and willingness to put the work in.
Tracy started working as a freelancer, which quickly led to her first company Lamourie PR, with her husband and business partner, Dave Parkinson. In 2020, they incorporated Lamourie Media. She mentions that in the early days. The biggest challenge was climbing that mountain to prove herself without the five-year degree behind her name, without thousands of dollars to spend in advertising. After spending all those years of conducting business, COVID hit, and about 80 percent of Tracy's contracts relating to entertainment, events, and travel were grounded - so she had to pivot to find new clients who needed their messages amplified. She managed to do that very successfully to the point that the last two years have been her best yet from a financial and business growth perspective - even though most of the travel is still grounded!
Build YOUR Brand
In essence, Lamourie Media amplifies the incredible things its clients across industries from the creative to the entrepreneurial to experts of all kinds - are doing and give them a global presence. In terms of values, this truly is a company that grew out of its founders' values, from learning to write that first press release that led to a 19-year campaign that ultimately freed an innocent man from death row. This experience taught Tracy the value of media attention and how difficult it is for some to make their voices heard without help. She asserts, "Though today we are a for-profit business, we still make the choices about whom we will represent and what kind of messaging we will put into the world with our values at the forefront."
Becoming a Strong Voice
As the recent winner of the Women of Inspiration award in Media, Tracy heard many affecting words from women she worked with. These women come from all backgrounds, levels of education, and cultures - thanking Tracy for the difference she has made in their lives and businesses by giving them a voice.
Cherishing this remarkable achievement, Tracy says, "I think we have been successful in what we set out to do. Elevate And Celebrate what these incredible people are doing and sharing it with the world. I've also heard from many women who tell me that my career trajectory over the last decade, watching me create this company, and seeing the success I am having with it has inspired them to find their own confidence to put their passions forward and work to create lives for themselves out of those passions!"
Keeping Up with Technology
Like most industries, the way Tracy does public and media relations has been changing faster than many can keep up. She believes that technology is the name of the game, from new social platforms to services that connect people with thousands of media contacts and beyond. Keeping up on all that is available can seem like a job in itself but ultimately makes your processes more accessible.
Setting Up For the Next Change
Tracy mentions that the media industry is changing, and it is starting to reach a significant milestone. However, it needs to do more work - continued diverse voices and experiences need to reach the public. Those in the positions of privilege need to continue to do the work to level the playing field.
Tracy states that the world will continue to see the effects of people creating their media and effective forms of expression with the evolution of blogs and podcasts and social platforms like clubhouse. It will get more effective, allowing people to reach their growing audiences and mainstream media responding to and often taking cues from that.
What Lies Ahead
Tracy looks forward to the world opening up for travel again to see herself traveling again.

She says, "I am blessed that I can do most of my work from anywhere and after two years of being mostly locked down travel-wise in cold Canada. I'm looking forward to more trips back to Malta in the Mediterranean: one of her favorite destinations for business and pleasure. She gives a huge shout-out to the incredible BE hotel that I feel like is my second home!)."
Tracy wants to visit the world that aligns with her business. She intends to continue pursuing her and her clients' goals with the relentless passion that has got her this far!
