The school day

Primary and secondary students:

◦ 6:50 a.m. to 2:50 p.m.

◦ 30-minute morning break

◦ 1-hour lunch break at noon

Grimm's Preschool students:

◦ 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

◦ Snack break at 10:00 a.m.

◦ 1-hour lunch break at 12:00 p.m.

K1, K2, and K3 children:

◦ Day ends at either 12:00 p.m. or 2:30 p.m. (parent's choice)

K4, K5, and 1st-grade students:

◦ Full-day schedule until 2:30 p.m.

Transportation

Additionally, each route has a sta member to ensure that students adhere to safety rules within the vehicle, checking that the young children are picked up and dropped o to their parents or guardians.

Meals

We have two dining halls and a snack shop available for our students. During the mid-morning breaks for primary and secondary students, the snack shop o ers various options of balanced meals, which can be purchased using their student ID cards, functioning as debit cards. These cards can be recharged through our state-of-the-art payment platform or at our treasury o ce.

During lunchtime, our students can use the dining hall, where they will find a balanced menu designed by nutrition experts every day. Children with special dietary needs will find di erent options tailored to their requirements.

At Grimm's, we also o er morning snack and lunch menus, designed by experts in child nutrition.

Interview, evaluation, and Play Day:

For children applying to preschool, a Play Day is organised, and parents have an interview with the Psychology Department. For students applying to primary and secondary school, they will undergo admission exams and an English interview.

St. Matthew School students can stay at one of our boarding schools in Europe, Asia or Africa from 4 weeks to up to a year. We hold your place open in St. Matthew School, so you don’t need to worry about what happens when your child returns home.
