REDDAM HOUSE SUMMER CAMPS
Day and Residential Camps for 4 – 15+ Year Olds
Reddam House Berkshire is set within a unique backdrop of 125 acres of park and woodlands. The school building is a magnificent, former Victorian mansion, which has been transformed into a world class learning environment.
At our beautiful campus located in Wokingham, a 40-minute train journey from London, we offer international students aged 4-15+ years, day and residential camps. The convenient location allows for great day trips and excursions.
Days are filled with excitement, activities and challenges, offering positive learning experiences. All our camps take full advantage of the amazing facilities that the school has to offer including a professional theatre, sports fields, swimming pool and extensive grounds.
The Performing Arts tutors have experience in film and television as well as being performers from London's West End. Our Wilderness Adventure is led by members of our own RAD team in the incredible facilities on campus with ex-military survival experts and instructors leading the way. New for 2025, we have football options with a premium club.
Additionally, for younger adventurers aged 4 to 7, we offer a multi-activity NANO / MEGA day camp where we separate activities per age group. Each day, these camps are brimming with excitement, a variety of activities and fostering holistic development.

Our unique camps are split into mornings and afternoons so you can best decide the camp for your child. Students can select a program that fits their personal goals, and fully immerse themselves in the camp's offerings.

MORNING OPTIONS
Languages - English
The camp is entirely English-speaking creating a comprehensive learning environment for those learning English. Our native-speaking teachers tailor lessons to match each camper's proficiency, learning preferences, and interests. Small groups ensure an optimal learning experience, and weekly excursions enhance language skills.
Public Speaking and Debating (Advanced English only)
The Public Speaking and Debating course at Reddam House is specifically designed for international learners with more advanced English.
The course aims to enhance English language skills while building confidence and competence in public speaking - a critical skill for academic and professional success.
STEAM
STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) offers an innovative and engaging approach to learning. Our hands-on activities and workshops are tailored to match each child's level, learning preferences, and interests. This unique opportunity allows campers to create inventions using robotics, design, art, science, and more. Our teachers foster curiosity and encourage campers to develop their creative minds, with small creations to take home as souvenirs from their memorable experiences.
Pre-Medicine
Age – 12-15+yrs
Embark on a dynamic exploration of the medical field with our Pre-Medicine Course, thoughtfully designed to cater to the diverse needs of both juniors (aged 12+) and seniors. For students aspiring to gain a foundational understanding and insight into the world of medicine, the course offers an engaging introduction to key topics through the practical application of biology and chemistry linked to medicine. Join us on this educational journey tailored to inspire and equip the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Multi Sports
The Multi-Sports course at Reddam House is an exciting program designed for international students who have a passion for team sports and want to improve their athletic skills. Utilizing the school's state-of-the-art sports facilities, the course offers a diverse range of sports, fostering both physical fitness and team spirit. It is ideal for students who enjoy being active, learning new sports, and working together with peers from around the world. Sport options include hockey, tennis, basketball, swimming, football and rugby.
AFTERNOON OPTIONS
Wilderness Adventure
The Wilderness Adventure course at Reddam House is an exhilarating program tailored for international students who are passionate about bushcraft, outdoor pursuits, and survival skills. This course immerses students in nature, teaching them essential survival techniques, outdoor skills, and how to thrive in the wild. It is ideal for those who love adventure, enjoy challenges, and want to develop a deep connection with the natural world.
Performing Arts
The Performing Arts course at Reddam House is a dynamic program tailored for international students with a passion for dance, drama, and singing. Led by industry professionals, this course provides an immersive experience in the performing arts, combining practical training with creative expression. It is designed to nurture talent, build confidence, and inspire students who are interested in pursuing performing arts as a hobby or career.
Equestrian Studies
The Equestrian course at Reddam House offers an enriching experience for international students who are passionate about horses and equestrian sports. This program is designed to cater to all ages and abilities, from beginners who are new to horse riding to more experienced riders looking to refine their skills. The course focuses on both horse care and riding, providing a comprehensive introduction to the equestrian world within a supportive and nurturing environment.
Football with a Premium Club
Train with a world-class Football Club. Our exclusive partnership guarantees top-level coaching from juniors to seniors, delivered by UEFA-qualified coaches. Students will follow the club's renowned philosophy and methodology, with a focus on building skills, tactics, and game understanding. Each participant receives two official kits and experiences elite coaching in a fun, confidence-building environment. Sessions cover individual techniques, team play, ball mastery, goalscoring, and dominating the game – all while embracing a unique style of play.
ADDITIONAL EXTRA CAMP OPTIONS
During free time 17:30-18:00 students can choose to add on additional activities, giving them the chance to learn new skills based on their personal interests and enhance their camp experience. We provide a variety of activities for small group tutorials, including:
• English – taught in small groups of no more than 5 students (total 5 sessions per camp), students will improve in all areas of their English studies including reading, writing and verbal communication.
• Maths – taught in small groups of no more than 5 students (total 5 sessions per camp), students will learn through
playful programmes and improve their skills in all areas of maths.
• Dance – taught in small groups of no more than 5 students (total 5 sessions per camp), students can achieve individual and group choreographic challenges to develop creativity and psychomotor skills, body awareness and emotional expression.
• Swimming – taught in small groups of no more than 5 students (total 5 sessions per camp), students can enjoy this low-impact sport that provides multiple physical and psychological benefits.
• Tennis – taught in small groups of no more than 8 students (total 5 sessions per camp), students can learn basic technique and improve necessary motor skills whilst instilling respect for the sport, their performance and their opponent.

Sunday pick up from the airport between 10am and 3pm / Saturday drop off to the airport between 10am and 3pm. Times outside of the given window may not be possible or may incur additional costs or individual taxis.
FACILITIES
Reddam House has world-class sports and performing arts facilities for campers to enjoy.
Sports Facilities
Reddam House Sports facilities include a 25m indoor swimming pool, a fitness suite, a brand new 4G hockey astro pitch, 5 netball courts, 4 outdoor tennis courts, multiple rugby, football and cricket pitches.
Performing Arts Facilities
The Performing Arts facilities include a 350-seat professional theatre with state-of-the-art lighting, sound and audio visual equipment.
Originally opened by HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1991, the theatre was re-named The Harriet Walter Theatre in June 2022.
There is a dance studio and a number of music practice rooms available for student use.
EXCURSIONS
Academic & Cultural Excursions
All of our campers go on two excursions during the camp. Example experiences include London Eye and Thames boat cruise, Windsor Castle, London Science Museum, The Natural History Museum, Matinee at London theatre or Oxford city visit.
Big Day Out Excursions
At the weekend our residential campers will go on fun filled big days out to a popular experience such as Thorpe Park theme park or Harry Potter Studio Tour (All age specific).
NANO CAMP FOR AGES 4 - 6 YEARS
Week Long Camps
The multi-activity NANO programme for children aged 4 to 6 focuses on fostering development through play, exploration, and structured activities that support their physical, social, emotional, and cognitive growth. It introduces foundational skills in an engaging way, encourages social interaction, and includes a mix of creative arts, group activities, and exploration. The daily schedule starts with a warm welcome, followed by morning group activities, creative arts projects, simple science experiments, and nature walks, all aimed at sparking curiosity and building essential skills.

Week Long Camps
The multi-activity MEGA programme for children aged 6 to 8 offers a dynamic and varied experience, balancing fun with age-appropriate challenges. It focuses on enhancing physical, cognitive, and social skills through more complex activities and exciting off-site excursions. The daily schedule includes a warm welcome, morning group introductions, and themed creative arts projects like model building and mural painting. Children engage in adventure games, outdoor challenges, and hands-on science experiments, along with maths and literacy games. The programme also incorporates dance, rhythm activities, and the introduction to simple musical instruments, fostering teamwork, communication, and a sense of discovery.

BOARDING
Boarding at Reddam House offers an exceptional camp experience. Across Drake House, Blake House and The Loft, campers can choose between a single, twin or quad room.
All houses have social spaces available for relaxation and group activities and kitchenettes for light cooking and snacks.
Dedicated boarding staff offer excellent around-the-clock pastoral care for campers and each camper will be allocated a mentor for the duration of their stay on camp.
Room Assignments:
Students are roomed with peers of similar age and gender; special requests (e.g. sharing with a friend) are accommodated whenever possible.
Meals:
Residential students receive 3 meals a day, plus snacks in the boarding house

Room Maintenance:
Students are encouraged to keep their rooms tidy to prevent loss of personal items.
Housekeeping:
Daily bathroom cleaning and a weekly laundry service are provided by the Housekeeping team.

SAFETY AND SUPERVISION
Experienced Staff: Trained camp mentors and instructors ensure a safe and supportive environment.
Health and Safety: On-site medical staff and first aid facilities are available, and all activities are conducted with safety protocols in place.
Comfortable Sleeping Accommodation: Single with ensuite bathroom facilities, twin rooms with Jack & Jill bathrooms, twins or triples with shared facilities, communal social accommodation with appropriate supervision.
Nutritious Meals: Balanced, healthy meals are provided to all students with a variety of lunch options including the main 'hot' meal, salad bar, soups and a selection of desserts. Mid-morning and mid-afternoon snacks are provided.
Residential students will also receive a breakfast and supper each day, along with snacks in the boarding houses.
All allergen or special dietary requirements are catered for by our in house catering team.
