Our carefully curated selection of vendors is here to assist you every step of the way. Whether you’re searching for the perfect gown, exquisite decorations, a dreamy venue, or the finest catering services, our team has you covered.
I bring a unique perspective to this journey as the Publisher of “Here Comes The Bride.” This role allows me to intimately understand the needs and dreams of our brides-to-be. One question that frequently arises is the choice between a full-service wedding or individually selecting your vendors. Opting for the latter enables you to craft a wedding that’s an authentic reflection of your style and personality, often while being mindful of your budget. Each vendor brings their unique artistic touch, and when combined with your vision, the result is a wedding that’s undeniably ‘you.’
The guiding principle is simple – let your wedding day be a celebration of your unique love story, shaped by your dreams and desires.

THE BIG SIT-DOWN DINNER VERSUS THE BUFFET Decision
By Michele Robert Poche
PROS
The caterer knows how much food to order in advance thus there is less waste.
All guests are guaranteed seating (better for the elderly, pregnant, handicapped, etc.).
There is a more captive audience for toasts and speeches.
CONS
Meal reservation cards must be coordinated and seating charts created in advance.
More servers are needed to accommodate all guests at once, which can increase the price.
Only two or three entrée options can be offered thus not all diners may be satisfied there’s a chance of running out or having waste.
Sit-down
Aband or a DJ? Roses or lilies? Afternoon or evening? Planning a wedding comes with many decisions. Among them is the choice between a sit-down dinner or a buffet at your reception. Each has its advantages and disadvantages. And since the catering bill often accounts for 50 percent of the wedding budget, you want to choose wisely.
PROS
Guests choose what, how much and when they eat.
Dietary considerations can be better accommodated.
Mingling and mixing of guests is encouraged.
CONS
Guests carrying their own plates may not be as elegant as you want.
Lines could form for the food.
There’s no advance food count, so there’s a chance of running out or having waste.
WHICH SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Costs typically depend on the size of your guest list, what you serve and your caterer. Generally, the buffet is cheaper and requires less planning since you won’t have to pay for servers, waitstaff tips at the end of the night, response cards or place cards. If your party is on the smaller side, plated meals can still be very affordable. Some couples also opt for a traditional sit-down brunch, which will save money all around and feel more intimate. If money isn’t a barrier to you, a sit-down dinner makes it easy to plan out your reception activities in advance.
The new collection is rooted in Victorian inspiration, with a vibrant homage to the era known for its detailed craftsmanship and romantic aesthetics. Each piece reimagines the opulence and intricate designs characteristic of the period, with a palette that diverges from traditional white to incorporate the full spectrum of spring colors. As you walk through the collection, you encounter a world where the pastel blue of early spring mornings and the vivid purples of blooming flowers in the afternoon sun are captured in fabric and thread. Lace overlays, corseted bodices and flowing skirts are modernized with pops of color, breathing new life into the classic silhouettes. Nardos created a garden of wearable art, where every dress is a petal, leaf or butterfly, contributing to a lush and dynamic tableau vivant of spring.

Emily & Brandon
EMILY AND BRANDON’S LOVE STORY STARTED WITH A MATCH. EMILY NEVER WANTED TO DO ONLINE DATING BUT BEGRUDGINGLY AGREED WHEN HER FRIEND REFUSED TO TRAVERSE ALONE IN THE WILD WORLD OF GHOSTING AND CATFISHING.
After matching, Brandon jumped on scheduling a date in person. Brandon was convinced that Emily was too good to be true and Emily was worried that she would end up with her own investigation ID story so their families went undercover. Emily’s mom sat at another table at the restaurant and Brandon’s sister sat in her car outside. The warranted skepticism soon faded as to everyone’s relief, Emily was not a catfish and Brandon is more interested in baking cupcakes than commenting crimes. So the spies left and they talked for over three hours.
Fast forward two years and the matched pair continue to fall in love with each other everyday. Emily says “He is unlike any other guy I’ve ever met. He is kind and funny and has the most gentle soul.” Brandon says “I’m still shocked she’s not a catfish! She is so funny, smart and easy to talk to. She is also a dork, but in the best way! And she is the most gorgeous girl I’ve ever seen!“
Brandon asked Emily to marry him in the same spot where he first told her that he loved her and they can’t wait to start their lives as husband and wife on March 15th, 2025.

FLOWERS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
By Laura Fur Mericas
ALL OF THE ELEMENTS OF YOUR WEDDING DAY SHOULD SAY SOMETHING ABOUT YOU AND YOUR PARTNER’S LOVE STORY. SOME OF THOSE ELEMENTS — LIKE FLOWERS — WILL SPEAK LOUDER THAN OTHERS.
Flowers can provide a great deal of meaning and symbolism to your wedding design. Selecting the flowers you will carry down the aisle toward your soulmate and the others that will deck your reception hall, can go much deeper than just choosing color, size and texture. So in order to help you think before you speak, we’ve narrowed down some of our favorite fall floral choices so that your flowers can say everything you want them to, in addition to “I do.”
DAHLIAS
— These bold buds typically signify standing out from the crowd and following one’s own unique path despite challenges — a perfect fit for the more offbeat bride. This multi-layered and robust flower can also represent kindness and grace in its pink hues, strength when red and new beginnings when green or blue.
ROSES
— The rose has widely been accepted as a symbol of love, but roses of all sorts have different meanings. In general, this romantic flower signifies an achievement, such as committing to the love of your life.
CHRYSANTHEMUM
— This fall favorite looks like a cross between a pom pom and a daisy. With a wide variety of purples, oranges and greens, this flower stands out on its own, or you can use these to add a punch of pigment to your bi-color rose bouquet. The chrysanthemum aptly symbolizes optimism and joy, which is a must for your wedding day and the start of your new life together.
The striking amaryllis stands out in a bouquet, and it knows it! These beauties, most often seen in a deep burgundy or orange color, signify confidence and radiant beauty. Doesn’t everyone want to feel that way on their wedding day?
Each rose color has an even deeper meaning of its own. The classic red rose represents beauty and purity. Fall-inspired yellow roses signify friendship and new beginnings, while orange roses are meant to show feelings of passion and desire.
SUNFLOWERS
— With their bright and radiant petals, sunflowers are meant to be a symbol of one’s adoration. And just as their namesake rises every day, these flowers are meant to represent longevity and loyalty — two qualities all hope to find in their marriage.
CALLA LILLIES
—
Stylish, sleek and simple, calla lilies can make for some of the most sophisticated floral designs with an array of meanings. The traditional white calla lily signifies purity and faithfulness while blooms with warm, purple hues represent charm and yellow alludes to gratitude.
