Celebrated their VIP Art Show on December 17th at their new location in Chenier

The party was well attended by guests from as far away as Melbourne, Florida. Elizabeth unveiled her newest painting; “Street Cars”, which she finished the night before. The new studio is full of beautiful paintings that are just waiting for a spot on an art enthusiast's wall. My favorite was the chandelier painting with vibrant reds and blues with a sparkly chandelier that covers the expansive jewel-tone colors.

Have you ever been so drawn in to a crafty project that you’ve lost track of time? Were you ever so focused, even for just a minute, that you forgot about everything going on around you and just concentrated on painting, cutting or gluing?

Art therapy has been used for years to help children to express emotions. Many children are unable to compose the right words to convey what they feel.

Many therapists find that using colors, shapes and pictures greatly help children to be more comfortable and capable with expressing themselves.

Suzanne Fox and Stephanie Edwards with Inspire Health Magazine in front of "Chandelier" adults to improve multiple mental and physical symptoms such as, reducing pain, anxiety, and stress. Art can be beneficial to those with mental disorders, severe or light emotional abuse, cancer, post-traumatic stress disorders, people who are bipolar, and a variety of other serious ailments. There is a difference between curing and healing. While art may not cure an illness, it can be a coping mechanism. It can calm, distract and refocus the brain and body. This allows the body’s energy to spend time focusing on letting go of stress and healing itself.
