How
it all started
Inspiring Salons was formed in 2013 and is the brainchild of salon design guru Mike Cooper. Spending the previous 20 years as an equipment manager for three of the UK's leading hairdressing & beauty suppliers, there is nothing about interior design & salon equipment Mike doesn't know.
Mike's extensive knowledge of furniture functionality combined with salon design has helped many salon owners create interiors that are both aesthetically pleasing, user friendly, and practical. In establishing his own company some 8 years ago Mike is able to offer this wealth of knowledge and experience to a broader range of hair and beauty salon owners.

Here is a collection of 2D scaled floor plans for the average-sized hairdressing salon: 50 sqm.
Here for this client it's not about how many styling sections we can “cram” in, it's more about creating a relaxing, spacious environment that both clients & staff will enjoy. There are also question marks about how many backwash units, so every floor plan I drew contains a 2 & 3 position backwash.
