// HIDING IN A DUMPSTER //
The first day of the assignment we tested the possibilities of the material and how it would affect and reflect on it’s surroundings. In the word surroundings we talked about the material the plastic surrounded itself, and the surroundings for the volume of the plastic. By, f.e.x, wrapping a tree with the plastic and letting air in and out of the plastic, it would symbolize the life of the tree by breathing. Moving on with the idea of giving visible life to elements, a big pillow of plastic was put into a dumpster, air was blown into the pillow, and thereby the plastic pillow opened the dumpster.

The second day we wanted to elaborate further on this experiment and tried to make the structure react with itself. We wanted to make the structure pulsate by creating an opening that would open up when the structure was blown up to its maximum and close again when loosing air. There by it would make the structure pulsate. The pulsations of the structure are a reference to the human body as a living and pulsating organism.
