11.30 Poor cousin to gold mine - empowering supporters to raise funds from their networks We often hear that community fundraising is a lot of staff time for a low return on investment or that it’s just unsolicited income, the poor cousin of fundraising. We think community supporters are amongst some of the best prospects for high value and life time support. This session will explore how working with supporters to empower them to raise funds from their networks can raise big bucks. We’ll share examples from a range of supporters from traditional fundraising groups to student fundraisers and individuals raising funds in aid of Anthony Nolan. This interactive session will provide practical resources and take away learnings as well as a Q&A session.
