Insurors of Tennessee is One of the Largest “Big I” Member Associations in the Nation

I hope you all are enjoying the Summer of 2022 and finding some time to rest, relax and rejuvenate somewhere along the way. It has hard to believe that we are already past the halfway point for this year. Your association continues to grow and develop because of the hard work of the staff, the leadership provided by the board and active participation by members.

We are pleased to report that at the midpoint of this year we have added over twenty new Insurors of Tennessee members and are actively seeking to grow that number by year’s end. The great news is that a time when many associations across various industries in the United States are shrinking, we are growing. In fact, the Insurors of Tennessee is one of the largest “Big I” member associations in the nation. On a comparative basis relative to other states that have larger agency and insurance company populations, we are performing well from a membership retention and development standpoint. It is important to note that this success is the result of successive generations of staff, leaders and members who invest their time, talent, energy, and money in this association through the years.

In this issue of the magazine, we are providing you with the names and contact information of those twenty new members. We encourage you to reach out and find opportunities to engage with them throughout the year. Our data shows the more active and involved new members become with the association and its members, the better the experience and the greater the value derived from the membership. The net result is greater member retention. As we all know as sociation Executives Conference held in Monterey, California. The conference was attended by Big "I" state executives with the purpose of networking and the opportunity to learn from each other. The event was very positive and constructive. I participated in working sessions throughout the conference with other state executives, Big “I” leadership, and staff to discuss opportunities and to make plans for the future of the association at the national level.

The conference highlighted the significant talent and capabilities of Big “I” state executives from across the nation, the exceptional quality of our association staff, and the forward-looking leadership we have at the national level. The Big “I” is strongly positioned for continued success in representing our industry at both the state and national level.
