Established in 1999 under the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Integra Design Group Architects & Engineers, PSC (Integra), we have to our credits the design and inspection for numerous projects and millions of square feet in Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic. Because of our focus on quality and prompt response, we have become one of Puerto Rico’s fastest growing design groups. As of 2014, Integra ranks as Puerto Rico’s 12th largest architectural services firm and 18th largest engineering firm according to the Caribbean Business Book of Lists™. Integra is part of a vertically integrated design, construction and education consulting group owned and managed by the same group of entrepreneurs. As an architectural and engineering design firm we have adopted environmentally responsible practices and technologies into our projects, including our own office headquarters. The growth of our company brought the opportunity to search for an interior environment that complies with the sustainability principles we adopt in our projects. Also, we sought after our team members’ comfort by incorporating ergonomic strategies, preserving indoor air quality, providing an open space for all design teams to collaborate easily, and selecting a site near public transportation stops, recreational facilities and community services. Being a firm committed to servicing its Clients in a superior way, Integra Design Group maintains first class facilities, equipped with the latest in technology, allowing the professionals involved to create better design with more productive tools. Our San Juan office is located in the heart of the financial district of San Juan. It is a 6,000+ sq. ft. space with ample parking. It is designed to accommodate a staff over 50. Some additional features of our Headquarters include: Technical Library, Corporate Intranet, Design Workshop and GIS Laboratory.

CARLOS I. BÁEZ DOTEL, MSCE, PE, is co-founder and President of Integra Design Group. As a Principal of Integra, he actively is in charge of the Department of Civil Engineering, Permit Procurement and Environmental Studies and the Department of Structural Engineering. Carlos has managed several design challenging projects in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Aruba, including infrastructure master planning, structural engineering design and retrofit, and water management facilities. Also, Eng. Báez directly oversees contracts related to construction management and inspection, project management, permits procurement, cost estimating and contract management. Engineer Báez is a Licensed Professional Engineer in Puerto Rico, in the Dominican Republic and in the State of Florida, USA. Also, he is a member of the Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors Association of Puerto Rico (CIAPR), the Professional Engineers,
Land Surveyors and Architects Association of Dominican Republic (CODIA), the American Concrete Institute (ACI) and the International Code Building Officials (ICC). Carlos earned his Master of Science in Civil Engineering, specializing in structural engineering, from the University of Puerto Rico, Mayagüez Campus, and a Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) in the Dominican Republic. His academic preparation enables him to execute in both civil and structural engineering fields. RICHARD CUEBAS RAMÍREZ, AIA, LEED AP BD+C is co-founder and Vice-President of Integra Design Group. Being a Principal of Integra, he oversees the Department of Architecture, IT management, IPD management and Sustainable Design. As a leader of Integra’s architectural practices, Richard has directed the design of a wide range of project types, including institutional buildings, residential developments, commercial interiors and urban planning. As a sustainable designer, Richard collaborated as a coach for the Green Jobs Program, a government effort to train employees in sustainability practice. Richard is a Licensed Architect in Puerto Rico and a LEED AP BD+C accredited by the USGBC. Also, he is a member of the Puerto Rico Architects and Landscape Architects Association, and the American Institute of Architects, Puerto Rico Chapter. Arch. Cuebas earned his Master of
Architecture from the Arizona State University and his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design from the School of Architecture of the University of Puerto Rico. With more than 20 years of design and management experience, Richard has to his credit high-profile projects in Puerto Rico and the Caribbean region, among them the Zoning Plan for former Naval Base Roosevelt Roads in Puerto Rico, the Aruba Green Corridor and new Land Court buildings in the Dominican Republic.
