Client: Bristol Grammar School Project: Science Refurbishment Bristol Grammar School (BGS) is one of Bristol’s most prestigious and well known private schools. As part of the school’s eight year plan to modernise its Gothic architecture estate, Integral Build were taken on during the summer recess to carry out a fast track fit out of the science block. The work involved the total strip out and substantial demolition works before construction could start, the raised floor housed state of the art IT and services for each lab bench. The benches themselves were custom built from our specialist supplier. The project was completed safely, on time and on budget for the new school year in September.
Client: Bristol Grammar School Project: Food Technology Refurbishment We were asked to convert an sports studio into a food technology suite to take 24 pupils, consisting of a wide range of unique storage units, installation of new white goods to cater for their needs. This was accompanied by the installation of air conditioning units and associated electrical works. A new back office and storage areas were also created.
Client: Bristol Grammar School Project: Music Department Refurbishment Our project for the BGS music department included converting an existing food technology area to a music practice centre within the basement of the school. On the first floor of the building, Integral Build were tasked with dismantling a supporting wall which separated two teaching rooms, thus creating one. To cope with structural pressures, the building was supported with steel supports allowing for the installation of an in‐situ structural beam..
