AgriGreen Agri-Environment S cience Program AgriGreen - A Breakthrough in Green Technology For Agriculture! AgriGreen is an automated plant environment controller that monitors soil conditions at the plants roots in real time and controls irrigation and fertilization with minimal human intervention. AgriGreen automatically monitors and controls the exact timing and amount of fertigation (fertilization and irrigation), saving water and fertilizer and maximizing crop yield. As a true green technology, AgriGreen contributes to environmental sustainability by minimizing the use of water and fertilizer, conserving resources and reducing pollution. AgriGreen maximizes the growth of agricultural products and automates the most important decisions facing the grower:
How much to fertilize What fertilizer to use When to fertilize
A Sustainable Green Technology!
How much to water
AgriGreen is a breakthrough technology that has proven to provide dramatic reductions in the consumption of water and fertilizer used in agriculture. AgriGreen’s advanced proprietary algorithms are the results of over 15 years of research.
AgriGreen is applicable in any plant substrate, in any climate and for all types of crops. AgriGreen even monitors the climate conditions in greenhouses and other closed structures
When to water
AgriGreen:
How does AgriGreen work?
Monitors the soil solution at the root of the plant to provide optimal irrigation and fertilization according to plant needs, in real time!
Using EC, pH, Nitrate and Oxygen sensors and tensiometers, AgriGreen takes samples of the root zone and checks the physical and chemical data in real-time. AgriGreen constantly calculates changes in the roots and “learns” the behavior and needs of the crop. AgriGreen uses this data to assess the condition and the needs of the plant and automatically delivers water and fertilizer across the installed fertigation layout. AgriGreen continually monitors the physical and chemical changes in the roots and recalculates and readjusts the fertigation in real time. AgriGreen thus maintains an optimal crop environment all through the growing period.
Increases crop yield by up to 20%! Reduces the use of water and fertilizers up to 60%! Promotes environmental sustainability by conserving resources and reducing pollution! Allows remote access and control over the internet! AgriGreen users have reported better harvests and a return of their investment within one year!
AgriGreen also gives immediate feedback when any irregularities are encountered at the root level. Thus growers can identify problems early, at the root level, before they effect the plant! With an advanced industrial controller and an algorithm developed by agronomists, the AgriGreen system has helped farmers worldwide increase crop yields and reduce expenses while protecting the environment. Where does AgriGreen work? AgriGreen is ideal for fields or greenhouse applications. AgriGreen has proven itself in a large variety of climate and soil conditions, in countries such as Australia, Colombia, Ecuador, Egypt, Israel, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, Turkey, and more.

Green Technology for Agriculture Education! With AgriGreen as the basis for the Agri -Environment Science Program, students learn fundamental concepts of agriculture such as irrigation, fertilization, soil management, principles of greenhouse design, and environmental concepts. Students investigate the effects that various parameters such as temperature, irrigation, radiation, fertilization and more, have on the plant growth process. The Agri -Environment Science Program employs the blended learning concept combining theoretical E-Learning study with relevant activities. The Program is provided as a turn-key project consisting of the following major components: 1. The AgriGreen automated plant environment control system, complete with sensors, pump and irrigation pipes 2. E-learning content: Courseware that enables anytime, anywhere, self-paced study in agricultural topics including irrigation, fertilization, soil management, pollution and water treatment. The curriculum guides students through flash-based interactive simulations as well as hardware-based activities using the AgriGreen system 3. Greenhouse (optional): The greenhouse is supplied fully equipped with a drip controlled irrigation system, fully controlled fans and heaters that provide control of internal temperature, misters for humidity control, and an advanced controlled shading system that provides control of solar radiation within the greenhouse. p
