GRandJazzFest will engage residents and visitors of all ages in inspiring live-jazz performances – and provide an opportunity to connect audiences with your organization.
• GRandJazzFest is co-sponsored with the City of Grand Rapids, a distinction given to events that are recognized for delivering a positive community benefit.
What is GRandJazzFest? GRandJazzFest is a free, outdoor festival featuring mainly Michigan jazz artists. GRandJazzFest will bring together internationally acclaimed jazz performers as well as up-and-coming artists. The festival will showcase a national jazz headliner and additional Michigan acts encompassing a wide range of jazz styles, including big band, Latin, straight-up classic and contemporary.

GRandJazzFest will be held on the third full weekend in August, from noon until 10 p.m. on Saturday and from noon until 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Who is the audience for GRandJazzFest? GRandJazzFest is for everyone who loves music, particularly live jazz! We expect a broad and diverse demographic: young and old, singles and families, people of all cultures - a great cross-section of our community.
