Leia o texto abaixo e responda as questões em português Did anybody watch the news?
John: Did anybody watch the news last night? Leo: I didn’t. I watched a documentary on the BioScience Channel. Did anybody watch it? Paul: I watched it, Leo. It was about animal communication. The part about elephant communication was amazing! Jessy: Did they show anything about dolphin communication? Leo: Yes, they did. Leo: Guys, not only human beings can communicate. Some animals can communicate in very interesting ways. They send messages through their appearance, behavior, body movements, etc. Carol: How can they o that? John: Like humans? Jessy: Yeah! Sometimes we communicate through body language. Jessy: Carol, do you know when somebody is lying? Carol: Yeah! People who lie don’t keep eye contact while talking. Paul: Maybe it’s because they’re shy. It’s difficult to understand what a person is thinking.
Carol: Of course it is. But I agree that if somebody looks towards the ceiling, or the ground, it seems as if they’re lying. John: When I’m embarrassed I blush! Paul: And when I’m nervous I perspire. Carol: If you cross your arms, people will think you want to keep distance. Paul: And it can create a barrier between you and other people. Jessy: Leo? Why didn’t you give your opinion? Because I’m wondering if in the future some people will be able to communicate without talking. Carol: Well, nobody can answer that. 01. Leia o texto abaixo e responda as questões em português Dolphins
Dolphins are not fish, but warm blooded mammals. They live in groups, and speak to each other in their own language. In this way they are like other animals, such as bees and birds. But dolphins are very different from almost all land animals. Their brain is nearly the same size as our own, and they live a long time – at least twenty or thirty years. Strangely, dolphins seem to like man, and for thousands of years there have been stories about the dolphin and its friendship with people. 05 A) O que são golfinhos? ________________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________ B) De que tamanho é o cérebro dos golfinhos? ________________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________ C) Quanto tempo eles vivem? ________________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________ D) Copie do texto cinco palavras cognatas (responda em inglês) ________________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________________________________
