Staying true to its British roots, SS15 sees Gola draw influence from the clean lines of modern UK architecture, the opulent colours created by the fusion of building materials and of course, the brand’s undisputable 110 year heritage.
2015 presents the reanimation of a number of heritage styles from Gola, this is combined with long time Gola favourites and a confident offer of fashion influenced silhouettes in slick colours and materials.
K ATA N A With references to Gola’s ‘80s back catalogue, this season’s Katana stays true to form with its much esteemed heritage silhouette. The colour palette is inspired by light travelling through glass to complete a great visual aesthetic.
SAMURAI A vision of authenticity, Samurai is a stellar ‘80s runner. With the styling remaining clean, with just a punch of colour, Samurai is quietly confident.
ELITE A classic cupsole, Elite makes reference to Gola’s ‘70s back catalogue when terrace influences were prevalent.
E UR O PA D-ring fastening, a sleek curved toe bumper, a contrast cupsole and a mix of texture and colour blend to form the streamlined contours of Europa.
SUPER HARRIER Originally launched in 1977, this is Harrier but even better‌ meet Super Harrier where structure, stamina and simplicity find the point of equilibrium.
HARRIER Making its debut in 1968, Harrier was designed for a variety of sport and general training. After four decades and still going strong today, Harrier has been made in over 300 colourways and has earned its stripes as a firm favourite in the sneaker world.
COMET Comet is a modern fashion inspired plimsoll with clean lines and a classic look; paying homage to Gola’s long association with racquet sports.
SPRINTER Taking a trip back in time into the delights of Gola’s archives, Sprinter was born from Gola’s great heritage in athletics. For SS15 it has been given a modern makeover with disparate materials, bold colours and a bobble outsole and contrasting EVA midsole.
SAMURAI FLECK It goes without saying that Samurai Fleck is a true heritage silhouette. Its speckle sprinkled midsole and subtle fleck material, influenced by high rise structures from Manchester’s skyline, fuse to present a future superstar. Samurai Fleck take a bow.
COMET CANDY Transport yourself to a decade where perms, pastels and ghetto blasters were all a go-go. Comet Candy makes reference to these beautiful days to offer an effortless option for the girl who delights in casual informality.
SAMURAI HIBISCUS Bold tropical flowers perfectly complement this heritage silhouette, bringing it bang up to date and 100% trend relevant.
HIBISCUS PRINT Gola has taken a step back to the hazy neon glow of the 1980s Miami beach front, to offer a collection of Hawaiian, tropical influenced plimsoll styles that would look right a home under a glorious pink and purple skyline of silhouetted palm trees.
WA L K E R H I B I S C U S There’s no getting away from tropical prints this season, so why not add them to a great rucksack line? The result? Walker Hibiscus, a bright, bold, summer must-have.
BARLOWE Everyone loves a rucksack and the new styling of Barlowe gives a great take on a classic shape, enhanced with a washed finish, relaxed styling and low key branding.
