New research fromGlobal Workplace Analytics shows that by the end of this year, at least 30 percent of the workforce will be remote multiple days per week. And as WFA ramps up, so does videoconferencing. EnterFramery One, a space-age solo pod made of recyclable steel that has all the requisite necessities: soundproofing, wireless charging, a power outlet, and a USB port. A highresolution touchscreen controls airflow, lighting, and reservations; or, if the pod is free, simply step inside to book it automatically. An on-screen message alerts the user when their time slot is nearly up—or, if it’s free, automatically extends the session so work can continue. Call it an adaptable workstation for our rapidly adapting workforce.
