The show’s usual two parts were combined

CIFF was the first furniture exhibition to take place amid the pandemic

The rescheduled China International Furniture Fair attracted 145,363 visitors.

The Guangzhou event attracted 1,607 exhibitors as it combined its usual two parts into one in the face of the pandemic for a four-day show ending on 30 July.

Organisers admitted they were surprised by the success of the show, with the figures demonstrating ‘the irreplaceable physical exposure’ it represents for the industry, and said it shows how much ‘the experience and the opportunity to touch the quality of the furniture with your own hands plays an important role in the decision-making process of the buyers.’

The 46th CIFF Shanghai is due to be held from 7-10 September, while the 47th CIFF Guangzhou will be held from 18-21 and 28-31 March 2021. Visit: www.ciff.furniture
