The Thai National Economic and Social Development Board (NESDB) forecasts the coming year to produce economic growth of 3.5 - 4.5%. Exports are projected to expand by 17% and consumption and private investment are projected at 3.7 and 8.5% respectively. Supporting Thailand’s healthy GDP is the continuing demand for exports, which recorded an historic high of US$ 56,002 million compared to the same quarter in 2010. This represents an expansion of 27.4 %.

The 2011 exhibition turned out to be a major success on all fronts …one of the best shows ever. Total trade visitors for the four day event numbered 33,016 – arriving from 35 countries. There were also 2,640 overseas visitors, an increase of 25% from the previous year. The number of business transactions from the event is believed to be valued at around 7.4 billion Baht, with more expected in follow-up deals. A total of 989 exhibitors from 30 countries were at the show which covered 28,000 sq. m. Post show research revealed that many visitors were top management and other of INTERMACH’S 2012 show concept: “The Business Builder”.
SPOTLIGHT ON SUBCON Thailand A Success from Day 1 Since it joined with INTERMACH in 2007 SUBCON has never looked back. It has been an outstanding success, providing a perfect stage for contractors to meet with many of the world’s top manufacturing companies.
