Best of Russia, the annual national photo contest, was founded by Art Center “Winzavod” in 2008 with the support of Russia’s Ministry of Culture. It aims to capture the country’s everyday life in offbeat and rich photos taken by ordinary people. Any Russian citizen is free to submit their work. Participants include recognized artists as well as amateur photographers of different ages. The 5th International Festival of Mstislav Rostropovich will take place in the Big hall of Moscow Conservatory and the Tchaikovsky Concert Hall.
