The TOP5 Romantic places in Moscow

The bridge near the Christ the Savor Cathedral

In Moscow, there is always a new place to go, an exhibition to visit or a menu to taste, but there are some time-proved places that are always here. We make a selection for you of the most Romantic places in Moscow, which inspires many poets and artist, the places to have a walk during your romantic rendezvous.

The Vorobiovy Gory Park and the Neskuchny Sad in the Gorky Park This huge park is great for walks along the Moskva River, sitting in the romantic pavilions and benches near the ponds in Neskuchny Garden part. By the way, it is nice to wander here in any season: here you will find blooming lilac or deciduous red maple, blooming apple trees, midday heat, shades of sagging trees, or a snow crisp underfoot.

Although the first draft of the church was laid down just on the Sparrow Hills (Vorobyevi Gori), today all know the location of the main Orthodox Cathedral in Moscow. In 2004, a pedestrian bridge connected Prechistenskaya and Bersenevskaya to lead the way to magnificent and historical location built in style of XIX century architecture. No wonder, as it offers a great view of the Kremlin and its surroundings, especially at night. Between Prechistenskaya and Bersenevskaya Quays m. Kropotkinskaya

The Monument “For Everyone that is in Love” at Hermitage Garden In Moscow, there is a special place for romantic persons, which is called - “For Everyone that is in Love” monument. It has its own interesting, though, a recent story. For many years known radio station “Silver rain” celebrated Valentine’s Day with the students in one of the oldest gardens in the capital - the Hermitage Garden. The legend says that on 14 February 2005, a girl came and showed a photo. There was a heart that many years ago someone painted it on the wall of the house of Juliet. This symbol of love became a sketch for the pedestal. Hermitage Garden 3, Karetny Ryad Str. m. Mayakovskaya

Luzhkov Bridge

The Patriarchi Ponds Patriarchi Ponds, or rather, the only surviving pond for young Muscovites became “Patricki”. If in the late nineties and early zero this Square was considered a gathering place for non-formals, at best, with guitars, today couples and families with children enjoy strolls around the picturesque pond. What attracts romantics to this area? Quiet and nice place in the heart of Moscow, where in summer you can walk in the shade of the trees, and in the winter have an agreeable time on the “spontaneous” skating-rink. It is very nice to sit on a bench or to visit one of the nearby cafes.

It is a favorite place for honeymooners. In Moscow - no wedding goes without a visit to this bridge. Why? Because here you can leave your magic locks - they can be put on the rail or on the “trees” of love. According to a legend, if a padlock with the names of lovers is attached to the tree, and its key is thrown into the Moscow River, they will be together all their lives and live happily! In order to reconcile the couple, there is a bench of reconciliation. Just sit on it, and you will find yourself in the arms of your love! The Luzhkov Bridge m. Tretyakovskaya
