The lightweight pearl snap features a tie front, which adds an element of subtle sexiness, bold embroidery on the sleeves and yoke, and 360-degrees of fringe plus some on the sleeves! It’s got a Western-style yoke trimmed in contrast stitching and a single “smiley” welt pocket. It comes in three bold color combos that you can pair with everything from skinnies to skirts to cutoffs. It’s everything a cowgirl could want!

@DoubleDRanch Double D Ranch, the premier lifestyle brand of the West, has designed and manufactured women’s apparel since 1989 with the introduction of their famed Native American blanket coat. While the brand’s aesthetic is often difficult to summarize in a few words due to its unique nature, some have referred to the look as a blend between bohemian, cowboy and Native American heritages. The fashion award-winning label, worn by rock stars and celebrities such as Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler, produces multiple collections a year featuring embellished biker jackets, hand-embroidered tees, and more. Recent additions to the company’s offering includes a line of handmade boots and bench-made hats — each one at a time. Their culminating mix
Welcome to Bakersfield!
Bakersfield, California was the last place you would expect to be the epicenter of a musical movement. Or a fashion one. It wasn’t Nashville, and it wasn’t Hollywood. Yet, somehow it became a magnet and a launching pad for some of the most notable artists of the era, and it became its own thing entirely. “Bakersfield Sound” became a universally understood term, and its reverberations left an indelible impression on an entire generation. “I have very fond memories of my sisters and me sitting on the couch at our grandparents’ s house, watching and singing along to The Porter Wagoner Show,” said Cheryl McMullen, designer for Double D Ranch. “We were mesmerized, stars in our eyes. Dolly Parton, Porter Wagoner, Buck Owens in their wild outfits and Nudie Cohn suits — That was ‘Hollywood’ to us; that was fame, that was glamour. And it wasfun. When I started to design the collection, that feeling, that light-hearted happiness, that’s what I wanted the Bakersfield collection to convey.”
And that’s what Bakersfield is. Sure, you’ll see identifiable influences from specific stars — Dolly Parton pinks, Porter Wagoner jackets, Nudie Cohn suits — but this collection isn’t an homage to any one person, or even Bakersfield as a place. It’s a sentiment. It’s an era. It’s a sound. And it’s transcendent. It puts you back in that time and place.
The colors are bright. The silhouettes are daring. The accents are dazzling. Bakersfield is a feel-good collection. It’s that outfit you reach for when you’re feeling your best, and the one you rely on to snap you out of it when you’re feeling your worst.

#RopingTheWind
“Follow your arrow wherever it points…” The awesome embroidered arrows are just ONE of the elements we’re loving on this goat suede vest. The two-tone panels, the bold contrast stitching, the hand-beaded accents, and y’all know we love a Western smiley welt. It’s colorful and eye-catching – a perfect summer piece! Throw it on over a simple tank or tee and you’re ready to rock and roll!
#RodeoTrails
Y’all remember the Warhol’s Pant y’all fell so in love with in Midnight Cowboy and Backwoods Barbie? Say hello to the bold Bakersfield version! The Rodeo Trails Pant kept that same sassy silhouette and recreated it in a bright red and (another) bold black. Still very much channeling that Nudie Cohn vibe, we went a little #extra with the embellishments on this rendition. The colorful cacti on the leg are still that bold embroidery, but for Bakersfield we upped the glam by accenting them with brass studding and – wait for it – RHINESTONES! Hollywood meets honky tonk, and we are here for it! You can go all out and pair it with the Rodeo Trails Jacket, or you can temper it down with a simpler top like a pearl snap or camisole – there’s no wrong way to wear the Rodeo Trails, as long as you wear it with swagger!

#QueenOfTheRodeo
Better polish your crown, girl, ‘cause you’re going to rule the rodeo in this top! This chic short-sleeve button-down is a statement-maker in unexpected sheepskin. It has some signature Western elements, like Western welt pockets and a classic fringed back panel, but also elements of edge with metal stud work, and that hint of femininity in the ruffled sleeves.
#BobcatBoogie
Get on your dancin’ shoes, girl – it’s time to Bobcat Boogie! This pretty pearl snap is full of personality. Ruffled sleeves, hot pink Western welt mock-pockets, contrast piping, and oh yeah – all sorts of colorful images on the yoke, including arrows, cacti, feathers, flowers, and one feisty feline! There’s so much to love about this top, and the possibilities are endless as far as what to pair it with, but it would be downright fabulous with the Queen of the Rodeo Skirt.

#HeadOverWheels
If you’re having a little fashion déjà vu, feeling like “I’ve seen this jacket before somewhere”, you’re not imagining it. While it’s not a replica or a remake, the Head Over Wheels Jacket was heavily influenced by the Nudie Cohn jackets and suits that were made for the legendary musician and TV personality, Porter Waggoner. We’ve incorporated various elements and images from some of Porter’s signature suits – wagon wheels, cacti, and covered wagons – in heavily embellished embroidery and nailhead accents. The 100% goat suede jacket is edged with contrast stitching, and accented with Western “smiley” welts. It’s colorful and country and definitely a collector!
“While ‘Bakersfield Sound’, fairly or unfairly, has come to refer to the sonic qualities of a subgenre of music, I generally use the term to refer to an era. It was, first and foremost, a time and a place.” — Scott B. Bomar, The Bakersfield Sound

Y’all remember the Warhol’s Jacket y’all fell so in love with in Midnight Cowboy and Backwoods Barbie? Say hello to its sassy summer sister! The Rodeo Trails Jacket kept key elements of that silhouette, but we shortened the sleeves to elbow length for a more season-appropriate feel. Still very much channeling that Nudie Cohn vibe, we went a little #extra with the embellishments on this rendition. The colorful cacti on the jacket are still that bold embroidery, but for Bakersfield we upped the glam by accenting them with brass studding and – wait for it – RHINESTONES! Hollywood meets honky tonk, and we are here for it! Depending on the color you choose, you can either pair it with a matching Rodeo Trails Pant (red or black) or Shorts (black or apricot), but we also love the idea of tossing this glitzy jacket on over a simple LBD with some statement boots. There’s no wrong way to wear it, as long as you wear it with swagger!
