FISE Lombardy has always been ready to offer its riders new stimulating projects guided by the enthusiasm of the regional committee President Cavaliere Vittorio Orlandi, keen sponsor of the Academy project for each recognized equestrian discipline. Dedicated to younger athletes, though not exclusively so, each regional FISE committee can develop the program and make it fit their needs.
The project aims to identify horse-rider combinations, that may be of regional interest, with the intent of following them in their growth throughout the current year by providing assistance and technical support at the highest levels. The joint effort of the regional committee and all the professionals’ goal is to lead the chosen combinations to achieving optimal results by

generating a positive engaging stimulus for their parents and coaches. “Today, despite the winter temperatures, the Academy riders showed up on time and determined. After the well-wishing greeting of President Orlandi they worked tirelessly under the guidance of instructors Giuseppe Prevosti and Marco Pettinari,” said event coordinator, Laura Quaglia. “All the riders were accompanied by their own trainers who were able to interact during the final interview with the instructors here. It was definitely a good day for everyone. COVID guidelines were respected and we were able to offer these young riders the opportunity to become acquainted with different work programs useful for increasing their technical knowledge.” Quaglia was quick to thank all the Ambrosini team, in particular Paolo [Ambrosini] and his family who hosted horses and riders, making them feel at home.

#MeetTheTrainers Beppe Prevosti and Marco Pettinari “We need to thank FISE Lombardia President Cav. Orlandi and Lombardia Reining because this project was carefully planned and did not fall into thin air,” said Prevosti. “A special thank you to Paolo Ambrosini and all his team who decided to provide complimentary youth stalls, food and gadgets. It’s so important that we professionals take care of and grow our young riders. First of all we have to make sure their ambitions are not neglected and we must satisfy their desire to learn in order to keep them in equestrian world. In this case, the fact of bringing together several trainers is also important from the point of view of comparison. I believe that all of us professionals should devote more time, and give more importance, to these young riders. This is a group of good riders who have already proven to be competitive, each in their own categories. It’s definitely a good group of passionate riders who are already at a good level. They are all very well-mannered, professional and I truly hope that all of them will have a bright future in reining.” “This is a good group of riders who has already had the chance to ride with excellent instructors and trainers at home — and this makes the difference,” said Pettinari. “Beppe [Prevosti] and I come from a generation that was really knowledge-thirsty and the only way we had to satisfy our thirst was to go to work in exchange for lessons and knowledge. This generation of young people is certainly luckier. They are all good riders, some need

support with regard to managing their showing skills, others need to work more on being together with their horse and require more technical advice to work on the combination itself.
