EDITOR’S NOTE

Hey Key Clubbers! Fall is just about over and winter is just around the corner! You know what that means…it’s the holiday season! In November, we focused on being thankful and giving back to our community. Not only does December mean a long break, but it’s also filled with fun and meaningful activities for everybody to help out those in need! Whether you’ve already unpacked your decorations or not, don’t be a grinch and check out all the events this month! Have fun this holiday season! Your editors,

BIG

Sleepless in Seattle is a volunteer led organization that devotes itself to “caring, meeting, serving, and befriending those experiencing homelessness in King County with sleeping bags and a smile.” Come and participate in Sleepless in Seattle’s Big Give in one of six locations around King County.

What happened in September? Roll to Cure

Key Clubbers raised funds for KCCP and learned how to rollerblade!

September DCM Dylan Marcy told his cancer story and members wrote cards to Hurricane Harvey victims.


What happened in October? KCCP week October 2: - Webinar: focused on expanding general knowledge of KCCP and discussed fundraising ideas/tips that helped kick off the week October 3: - Social Media Day: pledging to fundraise certain amount of money for KCCP and started online donations on social media October 4: - School Outreach Day: collected donations in school and spread the KCCP mission within schools October 5: - Share your Story Day: the PNW Key Club Blog to release impactful stories and experiences with KCCP October 6: - Community Outreach Day: Schools partook in community outreaches that involved in reaching out to the community
