Under its “See Something, Say Something” campaign, the Department of Homeland Security asks you to immediately report any suspicious activity or other circumstances with dangerous implications. Whether you’re a mom or dad dropping off your kid at school, a passenger on a bus, a worker in an office building or in any other public setting, and you notice anyone doing something that could indicate danger, please report it. Alert building security,

Call police
•
Call 911.
When you report suspicious activity, please be prepared to provide the following information: •
A description of the activity and the reason it’s suspicous.

The precise location of the activity.

A general description of those involved, including approximate ages and physical description.

If there are cars or trucks involved, describe them and note the license plate number if possible.
Suspicious circumstances could include: •
Abandoned vehicles in public places.

Out-of-place packages.
