With the quick releases of the Q=System cameras can be mounted easily and safely at any tripod or ball head with 1/4“ or 3/8“ thread. The Q=System was designed with special emphasis on easy handling and compact dimensions. The automatic Q=BASE allows locking the camera plate with a simple click. The position can then be adjusted individually. A simple turn of the silver colored ring locks the plate safely. Designed for even heaviest equipment. There is also a safety pin as an extra safeguard to prevent the camera plate from sliding out inadvertently. A large variety of camera plates (Q=Plates) is available in almost any size to support different types of photo and video equipment. The Q=System is also compatible with plates of many third-party manufacturers (Arca style dovetail). However, the safety pin function is only available while using original NOVOFLEX Q=Plates. The manual quick release Q=MOUNT complements the Q=System. The round shaped design is a perfect combination of form and function. Extremly fast clamping is guaranteed by the high precise double thread locking mechanism. A simple turn and the plate is locked in place. Like the Q=BASE, also the Q=MOUNT features a safety pin to prevent the camera plate from sliding out accidentally, if the locking knob is not turned completely. The Q=MOUNT MINI is equipped with the same features and advantages as the Q=MOUNT. Its slim design fits perfectly i.e. bodies of cameras without mirror or point-and-shoot cameras. PRODUCT INFORMATION
The NOVOFLEX Q=System is completed by 3 quick release bases with double sided clamping. The Q=MOUNT D and Q=MOUNT DC are two double-sided quick-release bases that facilitate optimal adjustments of the camera. The direction and the clamping of the Q=MOUNT D are parallel to the holder, whereas the direction and the clamping on the Q=MOUNT DC are arranged at an angle of 90° to the holder. All 3 quick release devices are optimized for use on the Multi-Media-Rig System (MMR), but in many cases they can also be combined usefully with the rail system from NOVOFLEX.
