Music of the Guns

Fort Scratchley Historical Society and Out of the Square Media (OOTS) are thrilled to present Music of the Guns to be held at Fort Scratchley on Saturday, 4 November.

This truly unique musical evening promises to be a blast, bringing together the community for an unforgettable experience. Music of the Guns is a two-hour live music event featuring the Australian Army Band Newcastle

and the Waratah Brass Band. The evening will crescendo with the firing of the Fort Scratchley historic MKVII guns, adding a unique and thrilling element to the musical spectacle.

Built in 1882 as a former coastal defence installation to defend Newcastle against a possible Russian attack, Fort Scratchley is now a museum with seriously spectacular views and this event is one not to be missed.

WHEN: Saturday, 4th November. Gates open at 5pm; Performance commences at 6pm.
