Music of the Guns Fort Scratchley Historical Society and Out of the Square Media (OOTS) are thrilled to present Music of the Guns to be held at Fort Scratchley on Saturday, 4 November. This truly unique musical evening promises to be a blast, bringing together the community for an unforgettable experience. Music of the Guns is a two-hour live music event featuring the Australian Army Band Newcastle

and the Waratah Brass Band. The evening will crescendo with the firing of the Fort Scratchley historic MKVII guns, adding a unique and thrilling element to the musical spectacle. Built in 1882 as a former coastal defence installation to defend Newcastle against a possible Russian attack, Fort Scratchley is now a museum with seriously spectacular views and this event is one not to be missed.

One of Australia’s finest galleries, located on the banks of the Hunter River in historic Morpeth village. Specialists in traditional Australian art, featuring international award winning paintings – landscape, wildlife, marine, still life & photo realistic drawings.

WHEN: Saturday, 4th November. Gates open at 5pm; Performance commences at 6pm. WHERE: Fort Scratchley, 1/3 Nobbys Rd, Newcastle East TICKETS: $25pp (BYO chair), $30pp (Chair Supplied).
