Ignite the Senses with the Grace of Flamenco

Acclaimed flamenco ensemble BANDALUZIA will present a spectacular performance of contemporary flamenco dance and music in two shows in Newcastle on Sunday, 13 November.

Led by Newcastle-born ARIA nominated guitarist Damian Wright, whose debut Album Shifting Sands was recently awarded Album of the Week in The Sydney Morning Herald, BANDALUZIA are celebrated for their powerful performances, unique sound and explosive displays of dazzling musicianship and virtuosity. This has led them to performing at a sold-out Sydney Opera House Concert Hall for TEDx and winning the Pick of the Sydney Fringe Festival award, among numerous other accolades. Featuring a fantastic cast of musicians and dancers, including Dance Australia Magazine's Most Outstanding Dancer, Jessica Statham (flamenco dance) and dancer Rosalie Cocchiaro (flamenco dance), who has been living in Madrid for ten years and has performed in many of Madrid's premier Tablaos (flamenco venues).
