Product Intrim 40mm Connecta Rail Modular Handrail System Project
1. The Intrim Connecta Rail Oak Modular Handrail System is manufactured from 316 stainless steel and timber which is sourced from certified Sustainable Forests.
2. A Microbial Resistant, hard wearing, 3 stage coating is applied to 40mm or 50mm dia timber rail ensuring maximum resistance to bacteria and fungi. Handrail is supplied in lengths ranging from 1.8m-5.0m. Set lengths are available on request, however a surcharge applies. A wastage factor of 20% is recommended. Lengths are to be joined with the SS40J or SS50J Stainless Steel Joiner. Allow for one of these joiners for any wall lengths greater than 3.6m.
3. Accessories including bends and support brackets are 316 grade Stainless Steel.
4. Patented, unique installation system for attaching bends/returns to ends of straight rail. Also, ensures bends/returns can be replaced with ease if required.
5. Standard cleaning procedures can be used to clean the Connecta Rail system. A mixture of detergent and warm water solution is recommended. Disinfectant can also be used. The coating has been tested with 100% bleach solution.
6. Installation process should be followed as per recommended installation instructions.
7. Maintenance. Normal care should be taken for timber handrail as is the case for any timber product to ensure longevity. If required and based on volume of usage, timber may be sanded and recoated.
8. Complies with Australian standard AS1428.1-2009
9. 15 Year Warranty. This warranty excludes normal wear and tear which comes with a handrail system in a health situation.
