Prepared for our Supporters and Host Committee Members
Dear Visionary Ball supporters, Wrote my friend Tom: “BRAVA! Congratulations on Intuit’s successful, fun and warm Visionary Ball. Intuit is indeed a wonderful family and flourishing.” Tom, those words perfectly capture the type of welcoming museum Intuit strives to be. And to all of you, Intuit members and friends, you made our programs possible through Visionary Ball. Thanks to you, more than $193,000 was raised for Intuit! As we finally were able to gather in person in Chicago (while keeping remote friends tuned in through the livestream), it was meaningful to celebrate outsider art experiences that uplift, empower and inspire students, teachers and people around the world. Thank you for contributing to the joy and success.
Silen Auction Item: Robert Bellio. Candelabra, n.d. Repurposed auto-parts, magnifying glass and machine parts. Gift of Paula and Gordon Addington.
Please stop by the museum soon to experience Roman Villarreal: South Chicago Legacies (June 17, 2022–January 8, 2023). Villarreal captures the spirit of South Chicago in his art, reflecting the people, places and life experiences of his community. A self-taught sculptor and painter, Villarreal tackles complex subjects through creative experimentation in a diversity of media. Frequent subjects range from urban tragedy and commemoration to family life and celebration to exploration of his Mexican heritage. We’re proud to present this and all our exhibitions and programs. Please keep in touch. Warm regards,
Debra Kerr, President & CEO
