INUIT LLARS TRANSPORTABLES, S.L. is a young enterprise, the fruit of the project by three entrepreneurs who have joined their efforts to manufacture a new, innovative product while applying new criteria in the building trade. It stems from the comprehensive work by the architecture team (Eidée Arquitectes), who proposes the building of modules carried out entirely in our workshop, which affords a range of advantages: it causes no inconvenience whatsoever to the customer as it is built off-site; we set a fixed, no surprise pricing; and, above all, a further quality control of the product. It is clear that in a workshop, where the climatic conditions, the machinery and the rest of elements can be controlled, the work performance and efficiency are greater. The home, or the element itself, becomes a “product” and thus the quality controls afforded by the industry guarantee superior finishes to those of the traditional building system. Our premises are in Berguedà county; we work with local professionals and, as a consequence, our level of requirements is very high. It all makes for a high-quality, attractive and highly-energy-efficient final product.
1
the aesthetic, a differentiating factor
careful design:
The INUITS are devised deriving from a simple, compact and symmetrizable geometric shape in order to facilitate the arrangement in diferent orientations and/or being part of a set where their orientation would guarantee the privacy from each other. The two blind walls allow extension or the union between them. Colours and wall and roof finishing materials are variable. They facilitate customization and landscape integration as well as the compliance with the urban regulations that control colours and finishing materials.
2
integrability different “skins The employment of different siding materials guarantees the landscape integration, the compliance with the different urban regulations and the adaptation to the customer preferences.

tecnològics i de gran qualitat
3 the Inuits can combine and
form sets by joining them through veranda, terrace modules and other complementary elements. A range of combinations allowing use and legal status as real estate are available, while using in-situ foundations.
combinable
the manufacturing system on
an assembly line in our factory —as though they were automobiles— allows the setting of rigorous quality control programs of each and every part that makes up the building. This fact entails a high level of requirements for the finishes and better safety standards than those of traditional building.

industrialized architecture
5
transportable
it leaves our factory fully assembled.
Transportability from one place to another makes up the essence of the INUITS, along with their characteristic capability of enlargement or transformation without need of demolition
recycling during the manufacturing process. The manufacturing system in the workshop allows full sorting, classifying and recycling of the waste materials derived from the building process at maximum efficiency and at minimal impact, cost and energetic requirement. This is a dry building and therefore water consumption during the building process is minimal. Minimization of the use of materials derived from extractive activities. Reduction of energetic consumption and CO2 emissions during the manufacturing process, transport and installation.
6
recycling at the end of the of the lifetime of the building. The system provides that at the end of the lifetime of the building it won’t be demolished but disassembled, unit by unit, in the same way as it was put together.

sustainable
insulation materials The insulation of walls, ceilings and wrought is made by means of rock wool in order to achieve the maximum thermal effectiveness of the closures. The implementation of energy production systems using clean, renewable energy sources is readily available. Due to the insulating features of the materials used, coupled with efficient heating systems and energy production, it is easy to achieve the maximum rating in energy efficiency.
building system by specialized layers avoids
the thermal and acoustic bridges, while improving the insulation.
It is available the implementation of design and building criteria of bioclimatic, ecological and sustainable architecture, as well as the possibility of achieving labels and homologations like DGNB, LEED, BREEAM, Minergie-P ECO and others, as a result of the implementation of the aforementioned criteria.
