The Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo's newest gastronomic venture has joined forces with Studio Cé's table-scene maestros, Célia Jourdheuil and Aurélie Lapierre, fashioning a gastronomic tapestry like no other. This artistic duo deftly curates a melange of objects, genres, styles, and codes, weaving them into singular tablescapes. With finesse, they craft delicate settings that exude subtle atmospheres.
Les Ambassadeurs by Christophe Cussac restaurant's tablescapes seamlessly blend with Jacques Garcia's aesthetic, showcasing the skills of gifted artisans and designers. Their choice is a testament to the art de vivre à la Française, celebrating local artisans and designers. Tino Aïello, a Vallauris-based artist-potter with seven generations of heritage, masterfully crafted the candlesticks. Diptyque Paris provided the hand-blown twisted water glasses and photophores. Garnier Thiebaut contributed embroidered tablecloths and napkins, while Christofle supplied the cutlery.
The pièce de résistance in this gastronomic tableau? Presentation plates by Jeremy Maxwell Wintrebert. His handcrafted, kiln-fired techniques, devoid of molds or tools, employ gravitational and centrifugal forces, yielding opulent, sensuous creations.
Jeremy, a Franco-American artist and 2019 Prix Bettencourt laureate, bequeaths Chef Christophe Cussac's restaurant with ethereal, one-of-a-kind crystalline masterpieces, each radiating poetic and pictorial prowess.
