This announcement comes after Lilou’s impressive performance in her first season in the European Le Mans Series, where she competed as an all-female team with Beitske Visser and Sophia Flörsch. Lilou is also set to become the youngest factory driver in Ferrari’s history, with whom she will compete in the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).

Richard Mille Racing Team was created in 2017 with the aim to promote drivers and provide them with the necessary support to succeed in this sport. As Amanda Mille, the CEO of Richard Mille, expressed: "Three years after the creation of the Richard Mille Racing Team, the marvelous work of the technical teams and drivers allowed us to achieve our objective. Lilou is only at the start of her career, but she is already writing a new page in the history of motor racing by joining Ferrari as an official driver in endurance."

The Richard Mille Racing Team has already achieved a great deal in promoting female drivers in the sport. In 2019, the team made history by becoming the first all-female team to finish in the top 10 at the Le Mans 24 Hours. The team has also competed in other high-profile races, including the Daytona 24 Hours and the Sebring 12 Hours.

Richard Mille has been a long-time supporter of motorsports and has sponsored numerous events and drivers: the partnership with Ferrari and the involvement of legendary motorsport figures like Alain Prost, Charles Leclerc, Sebastien Loeb, and Fernando Alonso further underscores the brand's passion for the sport.

In conclusion, Lilou Wadoux's signing with Ferrari is an achievement that goes beyond just being a female driver breaking into a male-dominated sport. It represents the realization of a dream shared by the Richard Mille Racing Team and an affirmation of their philosophy that anything is possible with hard work and the right support.
