STEFANO BALESTRACCI 4x e Enduro Classe 1988. Altleta di 4x. Ho da subito iniziato con il downhill e bmx race, ma dopo qualche tempo mi sono orientato verso il 4x, una disciplina che mi ha da sempre attirato per la sua spettacolarità. Già nel 2009 ho ottenuto il secondo posto ai campionati italiani di 4x amatori e la vittoria del titolo nel 2010, anno in cui passai nella categoria elite per correre la coppa del mondo. Dopo un grave infortunio che mi ha tenuto lontano dalle gare per un anno ho realizzato quanto io ami questo sport e quanto ormai sia una parte di me stesso. Nel 2012 sono tornato in sella più forte e convinto di prima. Sono sempre risultato tra i migliori italiani nel 4x pro tour.

Ringrazio Biotex per il supporto e soprattutto per i fantastici capi che mi permettono di praticare il mio sport preferito senza dovermi preoccupare delle condizioni atmosferiche.

Born in 1988, I am an athlete of 4x. I started my career in with BMX racing and downhill, but after some time I focused on the 4x, a discipline that has always attracted me for its spectacular. Already in the 2009 I resulted second in the Italian championships 4x amateur and I won the title in 2010, the year in which I moved to the elite race category for the World Cup (now called 4x pro tour) . After a serious injury that kept me away from racing for a year I realized how much I love this sport and how is now a really important part of myself. In 2012 I got back in the saddle stronger and more confident than before. I always result one of the best Italian in the 4x pro tour.

I Thank BIOTEX for the support and especially for the fantastic clothes that allow me to practice my favorite sport without having any worries about the weather.

MATTIA FENATI Paracadutista Nato a Ravenna classe 1976. Con il “pallino del volo” ho frequentato l’Istituto Aeronautico “F. Baracca”. La voglia di sperimentare qualcosa di nuovo, di sempre più estremo, mi ha portato a prendere il brevetto di paracadutismo sportivo.

Lanciarsi da un aereo perfettamente funzionante a 4500 metri di altezza ti da veramente una botta di adrenalina senza paragoni.

I miei impegni per quest’anno sono quelli di partecipare a campionati mondiali di Free Fly, e di specializzarmi sempre più nella fotografia in caduta libera … una vera sfida per tutti i fotoamatori del mondo!

Ringrazio Biotex per il supporto che mi ha concesso, permettendomi di poter saltare anche d’inverno, quando a certe quote le temperature sono davvero critiche…

Born in Ravenna in the 1976. With the “love to flight“ I attended the Aviation Institute “F. Baracca“. My desire to experience something always new and more extreme, led me to take license for sport skydiving. Jumping out of an airplane fully functional at 4500 meters above sea level, really gives you an adrenaline rush like no other. My schedule for this year is to participate in the Free Fly world championships, and to specialize more and more in the free fall photography... a real challenge for all photographers in the world!

I thank BIOTEX for the support that granted me, allowing me to jump even during the winter, when with certain altitude the temperatures are really critical...

MATTEO BRUSA Cicloescursionista Bolognese, classe 1984; i miei passi sono sempre stati guidati dal contatto con la natura, e mi hanno portato alla laurea in Scienze Ambientali e a svolgere le attività di guida ciclo-escursionistica e di cartografo.

Sono sempre stato un grande appassionato di montagna e di vita all’aria aperta; vivo a Monte Armato, sui colli bolognesi, ma trascorro la maggior parte del mio tempo fra l’Appennino emiliano, la Toscana e le Dolomiti, dove lavoro e dove posso coltivare le mie passioni sportive fra cui l’alpinismo, il mountain biking e lo sci alpinismo. Lo sport ed il contatto con la natura sono la chiave del mio benessere e mi hanno permesso di diventare quello che sono oggi: un sognatore ad occhi aperti ed un inguaribile viaggiatore.

Born in 1984 in Bologna, I’ve always been in contact with the nature, and this led me to a degree in Environmental Science and to perform the activity of cycling tourist guide and cartographer. From an early age I’ve always been a great lover of the mountains and the outdoors; I live in Monte Armato, the hills of Bologna, but I spend most of my time between the Apennines and the Dolomites, where I work and I can cultivate my passion for sports such as mountaineering/climbing , mountain bike and ski. Sports and contact with nature are the key to my well-being and allowed me to become what I am today: a dreamer and a passionate traveler.

SHANTY CIPOLLI Skicross

Classe 1992- Valdostano, precisamente ai piedi del Cervino ad Antey St. Andrè. Ho sempre avuto il pallino per lo sport, qualsiasi sport soprattutto quelli dove il rischio e l’adrenalina vengono messi in risalto. Tra questi ho portato lo sci più in alto che potevo, mentre gli altri li coltivo a tempo libero. Qualche anno fa sono passato dal “Classico” sci alpino allo Skicross che è sicuramente più adatto a me e alla mia competitività. Già qualificato 3° ai campionati italiani, da quest’anno ho partecipato alle prime gare importanti: la coppa del mondo e la Coppa Europa..

Born in 1992 I live in Valle d’Aosta precisely in Antey St. Andrè at the foot of Mount Cervino. I‘ve always loved sports, any sport especially those where risks and adrenaline are highlighted. Among these I brought skiing as high as I could, while I cultivate the others in my leisure time. Few years ago I decided to change and move from the “Classical” Alpine skiing to the Ski-Cross which is definitely more suited for me and my competitiveness. Already qualified third at the Italian championships, this year I participated in the firsts major competitions: the World Cup and the European Cup. Greetings to all and may BIOTEX warm you always!

PIERO COLOMBO Biker Classe 1990. Fin da bambino ho sempre adorato la bicicletta, le salite difficili, la fatica, Pantani e negli ultimi cinque ho passato i momenti più belli della mia vita sopra una sella Ho iniziato a fare giri sempre più lunghi e più difficili con quel formicolio nelle gambe che mi spronava a spostare più in alto i miei limiti, ho iniziato a puntare le salite più dure che ci sono in Lombardia e Trentino, togliendomi grandi soddisfazioni nel raggiungere le vette. Ho scoperto che il mondo della bicicletta ha tantissimi stili e che per praticarne ognuno ci sono dei modelli completamente diversi nella forma e nella struttura: io ho iniziato a fare cross country prendendo parte a piccole competizioni senza alcuna pretesa. Gli ottimi risultati nelle gare aperte agli amatori mi hanno spronato a tesserarmi per poter competere a livello agonistico. L’adrenalina che sento alla partenza di una gara è una cosa indescrivibile, una sensazione bellissima che mi spinge a dare tutto me stesso; in una gara in MTB non ci sono giochi di squadra: sei da solo contro altri 100, 1000, 5000 bikers che vogliono farti mangiare la polvere! In salita mi piace spingere rapporti durissimi, in discesa ho imparato a “non frenare” e mi esalto quando faccio anche 3/4 sorpassi in una curva.

Born in 1990. Since childhood I’ve always loved cycling, difficult up-hills, exertion, Pantani and in the past five years I spent the best moments of my life on a saddle. I started to do longer and harder travels with that tingling in the legs that motivate me to move further up my limits, I started to aim the highest up-hills that are in Lombardia and Trentino , having great satisfaction in reaching high peaks. I discovered that the world of cycling has many styles and for practicing each of them there are completely different models in form and structure: I started doing cross country taking part in small competitions without any pretenses . The excellent results in competitions motivated me to compete for a more competitive level . The adrenaline that I feel at the start of a race is something beyond words , a beautiful feeling that pushes me to give all myself; in a mountain-bike race, there are no team games: you are alone against the other 100, 1000, 5000 bikers who want you to eat their dust! I like to push uphill very hard, downhill I’ve learned not to “curb” and it excites me even more when I do 3 or 4 overtaking during a curve.

I would like to thank BIOTEX for supporting me and also for the continuous stimulus that I received to improve and give my best.
