Lebanon - Emergency evacuation and repatriation of 1,401 extremely vulnerable migrant workers since January 2013 from Syria
IOM assists stranded migrants to leave Syria and to transit through Lebanon in order to fly home from Rafic Hariri International Airport in Beirut. A land-bridge was set up between Damascus and Beirut in February 2013 after frequent insecurity prevented convoys to reach Damascus international airport. * Turkey - Transportation services for residents of Adiyaman camp: IOM and partners are assisting Syrian nationals to travel to and from medical facilities and social services. While there are health facilities provided at the camp, the transportation service is provided for beneficiaries that may require blood tests, X-rays, gynecological consultations and other specialized services. For beneficiaries with chronic conditions who require specialized treatment which is not available in Adiyaman province, transport is provided to Gaziantep, Adana, and Maltya hospitals.
