The Board approved the nominations, but the age of nominees was the problem (IOV follows the UNESCO’s definition of Youth: 15-24 years). Thus, the Board decided to change the maximum age to 35 until the next IOV World Youth Congress (tentatively in Turkey, 2017). The following positions were appointed and/or confirmed until the next General Assembly (tentatively in Italy, March 2016): 1) Fabrizio Cattaneo (Italy) for Acting Secretary General 2) Henk Huijser (Netherlands) for Treasurer to replace Jorge Gonzalez 3) Daniela Santos (Brazil) as the newly elected RES for South America. 4) Thiago Amorin (Brazil) as the newly elected Chair of the IOV Youth Commission. Thiago raised a suggestion on having an IOV Youth Committee Meeting two days before the GA , then participating together at GA. Minara added that Azerbaijan also suggested to host GA.
