Why IPC? “This event produced quality [attendees] over quantity, allowing for more personal one-onone dialogue with my customers and potential customers. That’s what I want from a show.” David Buhrkuhl president of SPEA America

IPC is the industry not-for-profit trade association with 2,700 member companies worldwide. The organization is known worldwide for technical standards for the printed board and electronics assembly industries. The association has issued more than 200,000 certifications in areas such as electronics assembly acceptability, rework/repair, soldering, printed board acceptability and

PCB design. The association publishes the most widely used acceptability document in the electronics industry, IPC-A-610. Original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and electronics manufacturing services (EMS) providers represent half of the association’s 2,700 company members.

“It’s the best trade show I’ve ever been to! The show focus was specifically on board assembly and it’s certainly not a circus, like a previous show we would attend. We sold a couple of machines right off the floor and I credit the venue for our success ... this is a beautiful facility, it’s easily accessible and the parking is free. The show attendees were decision makers and the lead quality was superb.” Alan Cable, president of Ace Production Technologies

Bringing You the Right Audience In addition to companies making printed boards and electronics assemblies, thousands of companies in the Midwest rely on electronics manufacturing for the success of their products. Introduce yourself to companies in the Midwest and beyond.

A-Line Get in the A-Line and show your equipment in action! Attendees will follow a product through screen printing, pick-and-place and reflow while learning about the processes and equipment in play to manufacture a device.

Become a sponsor company. In 2008, hundreds of attendees went through the line. Make sure your equipment is what they’re looking at. For more information, contact Maria Labriola, trade show sales manager, at +1 847-597-2866 or MariaL@ipc.org

NEW! Free Online Exhibit Hall IPC has launched an exciting new online exhibit hall, sure to benefit every exhibitor at IPC Midwest. Extend your presence at the event beyond the show floor through your Web profile at no charge. Include photos, press releases, new products, links to audio and video presentations — and more! Catch the attention of potential buyers, before they event set foot on the show floor! The online exhibit hall will continue to be an excellent marketing tool for your company, from now through show time — and beyond! Additional benefits include: Get on Their Agendas — The personal planner allows users to search for companies by keyword, category, name, or by using the “Featured Exhibitors” section of the site. Exhibiting companies are highlighted on the floor plan, and can be easily added to a potential customer’s agenda.

Catch Media Attention — Press releases and new products catch the eye of any media covering the event, and are at their fingertips in the Online Exhibit Hall. Upload your new products information, video and audio presentations, and any press releases through your listing. Featured Exhibitors — If you become a sponsor at the event, you will enjoy additional exposure even before the event! Visitors to the new Online Exhibit Hall will see your name first on the list of exhibitors, and will take note of your status as a “featured exhibitor.” Companies that submit new products/services through the Online Exhibit Hall will be added to the “featured exhibitor” list for new products, a very popular list for all users.
