PROJECT ONE
SHATIN CANOPIES This project is to design a public space that belongs to the residents of the community. Residents lack a place where they can strengthen their sense of belonging to the community. People of all ages need a place to connect. The elderly in particular need to be brought together. The community selected for this project is Sha Tin in the Hong Kong New Territories. This community is separated from the main urban district of Kowloon by a mountain making it a pocket of local activities that includes food, hiking, shopping, and living.

PROJECT TWO
SUPPORT SQUAD Single-parent Families: Parent-child communication
Background Before the age of 12, adults’ behaviour, speech, expression & emotion all affect our personality. So, the parents of the original family are responsible for a very important part of our childhood & influence the next generation. I hope that through establishing a community centre, we can connect divorced parents & children so that children can grow up healthily in an environment where there is no lack of care.
