SCANIA

SCANIA 540 S WINS BIG IN COMPARATIVE PRESS TESTS Last autumn, Scania participated in two comparison tests organised in Germany by European trade magazines. The results for the 1000 Punkte Test (1000 Point Test) and European Truck Challenge (ETC) have now been published and, up against leading competitors, Scania’s 540 S tractor has won both, and with healthy margins ahead of the runners-up.

Winning these comparison tests is yet another point of proof for Scania’s industry-leading position,” says Stefan Dorski, Senior Vice President and Head of Scania Trucks. “When independent and experienced journalists assess all the relevant aspect of our products with scientific methods and compare them with our peers, the results tell a story that is highly relevant for potential truck buyers.” The 1000 Point and ETC tests are among the most established comparison tests for commercial heavy trucks in the world. They are organised by German trade magazines with the participation of senior journalists from other countries. Cab-related qualities like the driver environment, sleeping comfort and noise levels are assessed, as well as other aspects such as road handling, gear shifting and serviceability. The trucks are

also driven more than 300 km on different types of public roads, equipped with calibrated fuel-measurement equipment to confirm the true fuel consumption with the highest accuracy. Every aspect is then given a score that adds to each truck’s final result. “We are awarded the highest overall scoring in both of these test, but personally I am most proud of the fact that our truck has the lowest fuel consumption while at the same time offering the highest average speed,” says Dorski. “It highlights Scania’s inherent transport efficiency. And not only will our customers benefit from the outstanding result, it also gives a substantial – here and now – contribution in the fight against the climate challenge from CO2 emissions the world is facing.”

trade magazines, including “Lastauto Omnibus”. The ETC, organised by HansJürgen Wildhage is published in “KFZ Anzeiger” and several other magazines. Participating in the 1000 Point Test, which took place in October 2020, were the Scania 540 S, MAN TGX 18.510 BLS and Mercedes Actros 1853 LS. Participating in the ETC test in November 2020 were the DAF XF 530, Scania 540 S, MAN TGX 18.510 BLS and Mercedes Actros 1853 LS. Loggers who want more production, greater comfort and safety, and lower maintenance cost will love the Next Generation 538 The 538 offers a cold-start capability of -25˚ F (-32˚ C) and reliable high ambient temperature operation reaching 118˚ F (48˚ C). It efficiently operates at altitudes reaching 9,842 ft (3 000 m) without derating. Fuel tank capacity is more than double the previous model, which means the new 538 can operate up to five shifts before refilling.

said Bottone. “Plus, it has a heated seat and a more ergonomically friendly layout, so the operator doesn’t have to exert much effort to be efficient and productive.”

Improved comfort and safety The all-new Certified Forestry cab design for the Cat Next Generation 538 dramatically improves operator comfort and safety.

Ingress/egress is easier due to the cab’s wider and taller door and tilt-up console on the operator’s seat. The machine’s new dual HVAC system keeps operators comfortable regardless of working in the summer heat or during subfreezing ambient winter temperatures. Its specially insulated roof and improved window and door seals keep in-cab noise levels low.

“The cab is 25% larger with 50% greater overall visibility than our previous 538,”

Operators can start the 538’s engine with a simple push of a button. The

A larger, 1.25-in (32-mm) polycarbonate front window improves visibility and operating safety. Smaller cab pillars with the large panoramic windows and recessed right front of the machine contribute to the 50% visibility improvement over the previous model. Two different cab risers – 6.5-in (165mm) fixed or 48-in (1 219-mm) hydraulic

“We improved our filters and our service intervals, and we improved ground-level access to service points to make daily maintenance quick and safe, including a new ground-level dipstick for checking the engine oil,” said Bottone. “Our new electrohydraulic control system eliminates the need for a pilot filter and pilot oil altogether.”

Lower maintenance costs Compared to the previous model, the Next Generation 538 lowers maintenance costs by up to 15% over the course of 12,000 hours of operation.

Product Link technology captures critical operating data, fault codes, and machine location information to boost fleet management efficiency. The Next Generation 538 has Remote Troubleshoot capability when within cell coverage. Remote Troubleshoot analyzes real-time machine data captured by Product Link for diagnostics of fault codes without impacting machine productivity, and it can potentially save a service trip to the jobsite. Also, owners can be sure the 538 is operating with the most current version of software with standard Remote Flash (dependent on cell service), which updates machine software around the production schedule. “Loggers who want more production, greater comfort and safety, and lower maintenance cost will love the Next Generation 538,” said Bottone. “When you add in our Cat dealer network that’s committed to forestry, you get a winning combination of machine and support that can’t be beat for moving timber.” www.cat.com

MOBA

NEW G-SLOPE SENSOR MGS-0150 FOR SMOOTH ASPHALT PAVING Paving roundabouts, docking the truck to the paver, fast steering movements or moving the screed’s extending units were so far challenging for slope sensors. Because a conventional slope sensor can wrongly interpret acceleration as slope and then adjust the paver screed accordingly. For the paving result that means that unevenness in the asphalt can occur.

W

ith MOBA’s new G-Slope Sensor MGS-0150, these are no more obstacles like these for paving a smooth asphalt layer. Because with this new sensor, that was especially developed for the use on asphalt pavers, neither impacts nor lateral acceleration have any influence on levelling during paving. With the integrated gyroscope, the sensor is able to recognize these impacts and there is no wrong adjustment of the levelling system. This way, the new sensor helps to achieve smoother results in asphalt paving.

01 - Construction Equipment - JUNE 2021

10

MOBA

The advantages of the G-Slope Sensor compared with a conventional slope sensor are: • more stable measured value • complete elimination of acceleration impacts when the screed width is changed • no deviation of measured values by changing the screed width or other similar impacts

Of course the MGS-0150 sensor corresponds to MOBA’s quality standards, that means it is reliable and precise. With its robust housing is protected against environmental influences like rain or dust and corresponds to protection class IP67. https://moba-automation.com/

In all realistic application situations, the new G-Slope-Sensor proved its advantages as it leads to better paving results. Compared to conventional slope sensors an additional gyroscope is implemented in this new sensor. The sensor is easy to mount, but it is important that is fixed on the paver on a rigid mounting without rubber buffers.

MANITOWOC CRANES

SIX NEW GROVE ALL-TERRAIN CRANES FOR J&D PIERCE Scottish steelwork contractor J&D Pierce took delivery of six new Grove all-terrain cranes: two GMK3060L, one GMK4090, two GMK4100L-1 and one GMK5150L model.

Six new Grove all-terrain cranes joined the J&D Pierce fleet in 2020.

A

fter a short commissioning period, Grove service engineers carried out familiarization training with the operators to help them get the most out of the new cranes. J&D Pierce is no stranger to Grove, however. The Glengarnock, Ayrshire-based business bought its first Grove crane in 1997 and has purchased approximately 12 more units since. Today, every model in its fleet of nine cranes is a Grove. “What keeps us coming back to Grove is the quality of the cranes and the good relationship we have with the Manitowoc service team,” said Derek Pierce, managing director of J&D Pierce. “Grove cranes have strong loads charts, long booms, are compact on site and operate quickly, which makes them ideal steel erecting cranes,” he continued. “Our cranes are on site almost all the time and there is never a lot of downtime — but if we do, on a rare occasion, have an issue, the service we get from Manitowoc is

01 - Construction Equipment - JUNE 2021

12

very good. We have a good relationship with the service team.” J&D Pierce chose the two 60 t GMK3060L and the 100 t GMK4100L-1 cranes as upgrades to four of their five-year-old Grove models. The 90 t GMK4090 and 150 t GMK5150L were entirely new additions. The 100 and 150 tonners went straight to South Wales to help construct the new Swansea Arena, while the 60 and 90 tonners travelled to Gateshead to work on a new distribution warehouse, involving the assembly of 11,000 t of steel. Grove cranes with optimized roadability J&D Pierce’s fleet of Grove cranes work the length and breadth of the country on some of the UK’s largest construction projects. Travelling to job sites, wherever they may be, will never be a problem for the company’s cranes. Roading is important and is why Manitowoc introduced the GMK4100L-1

with three counterweight versions. One flexible version, for both 12 t and 16.5 t axle roading regulations, one for 12t/axle configurations and one for 16.5 t/axle configurations. The new GMK4100L-1 for J&D Pierce comes in a 16.5 t/axle counterweight version, especially beneficial for UK roading requirements. The 10 t counterweight slabs are already attached to the superstructure with the remaining weight lying on the carrier deck. All

the operator needs to do is rotate the superstructure, pick up the extra counterweight and start working. This makes rigging more convenient and saves time on the job site as the crane set-up can be completed faster. Specialising in the design, fabrication, painting and site erection of structural steel work, J&D Pierce is one of the UK’s leading structural steelwork contractors. Since its early days, the company has grown to employ 35o people and

produce more than 1,000 t of steelwork a week from its 300,000 sq ft factory. The contractor has also gained a wide reputation for innovation, quality and adaptability in today’s competitive, changing industry — characteristics which Grove strives to match in its cranes. www.manitowoc.com

DOOSAN

DOOSAN INFRACORE INTRODUCES A “TRANSPARENT BUCKET” WHEEL LOADER THAT ALLOWS THE DRIVER TO SEE EVEN BLIND SPOTS IN FRONT OF THE BUCKET The first real-time front perspective function in the construction equipment industry, greatly improving safety.

D

oosan Infracore announced that it had introduced the industry’s first wheel loader with a “transparent bucket” function. The transparent bucket is a system that allows the wheel loader driver to see even blind spots in front of the bucket through the monitor in the cockpit. The innovative system records images in front of the wheel loader with cameras installed at the top and bottom and shows the combined images in real time using a curved projection method. The front of the wheel loader has been considered a major safety issue due to blind spots. With the transparent bucket function, however, the driver can easily check the blind spot in front of the

01 - Construction Equipment - JUNE 2021

bucket with a monitor to prevent safety accidents. Another advantage is that it can significantly improve work efficiency by enabling a forward perspective through the monitor during loading/unloading work or carrying of soil and sand. Doosan Infracore is the first company to develop and apply the front projection function like the transparent bucket for a construction machine. Doosan Infracore has applied for patents for it in Korea, North America, Europe, and China. The company exhibited the technology and received favorable reviews at the CES 2020 held in Las Vegas last year. It has installed cutting-edge safety systems, such as the around view monitor (AVM) system that can monitor

the equipment’s surroundings and a rear warning system using ultrasonic sensors, in the construction equipment and received favorable responses from customers. “As construction safety standards have been significantly reinforced, the advanced safety system has become the key equipment option. We plan to continue developing functions that can protect the safety of drivers and nearby workers and lead the creation of accident-free construction sites,” a Doosan Infracore official said. www.doosaninfracore.com

VOLVO

VOLVO L25 ELECTRIC GIVES WINTER THE COLD SHOULDER WITH ECO-FRIENDLY CITY CLEANING The first electric compact wheel loader from Volvo Construction Equipment (Volvo CE) – the Volvo L25 Electric – has been proving it can weather any storm by helping to keep the icy streets of Cologne, Germany, clean and clear during the long cold winter.

The zero emissions L25 Electric plays a key role in Cologne’s winter service provision.

T

he responsibility for keeping Cologne, Germany’s fourth largest city, looking its best falls to AWB Abfallwirtschaftsbetriebe Cologne GmbH. Its vital work in street cleaning and waste disposal ensure that not only is this cathedral city kept clean and safe, but that the surrounding Rhine area and its network of highways are kept open and safe for travellers all over the region. Around 700 employees are on hand to keep some 2,000 km of main road, 600 km of access road and 500 km of residential street free from snow and ice. Zero degrees, zero emissions For such a substantial task during the most challenging months of the year, AWB needed a partner that could play a vital role in its operations – one that could not only work with power and performance no matter the conditions, but also one that would limit its environmental impact with zero emissions. Which is why AWB chose

01 - Construction Equipment - JUNE 2021

18

the L25 Electric, through Volvo partner and dealership Swecon Baumaschinenen GmbH, to help in keeping its winter service provision moving from its new depot in the heart of the city. As well as being reliable, efficient and good value for money, the electric wheel loader was picked for the task because it produces zero exhaust fumes, low noise and low vibrations, making it an ideal solution for work inside a depot, without the need for a ventilation system. Sustainability has been a core objective at AWB for some time and the company is recognized as a pioneer of environmentally responsible initiatives within its industry. In addition, the company regards itself as a partner to the City of Cologne and is committed to continuously improving the quality of life for its citzens. As such, care is always taken to only employ vehicles and machines that are low emission.

VOLVO

“The wheel loader is an important milestone in our journey to introduce more electric mobility at AWB Cologne and is certainly fulfilling our expectations,” says Dr. Bert Schröer, Head of Mobility and Sustainability at AWB Cologne. “We are managing well with the electric power – even in the cold. Capacity, handling and shovel size – everything fits. So far, there have been no aspects that would make us question our decision. It was definitely the right choice.” The machine’s zero emissions, low noise and low vibrations are ideal for work inside the depot.

The L25 Electric is working inside AWB’s depot handling the transportation of grit for the city’s streets.

A machine with the grit to succeed As the first Volvo L25 Electric to be delivered to a job site in Germany, it has aleady proved a success since it started work back in December. And this new addition to the fleet has an important role to play. Its main task within the 1,700 sq m depot is to feed the screw conveyor which transports the material to the silos, which in turn fills AWB’s grit spreaders. “If the wheel loader doesn’t transport the grit to the silos, then there would be no grit on the streets of Cologne,” comments Schröer. “Maximum reliability and availability are therefore an absolute must.” As the wheel loader is in continuous operation over three shifts throughout the winter service period, a four-year service agreement was signed. This includes the maintenance of the machine and its components. Fast charging infrastructure was developed at AWB’s depot to enable the L25 Electric to work independently. Swecon places great importance on training its employees, especially to aid in the transition towards electric construction machines, so that they can provide the best possible service to its customers. During the summer months, the L25 Electric will still be in demand when it is deployed as an “allround loader”, providing support for AWB’s transport works across its 36,000 sq m territory, such as transporting arboreal waste to loading a variety of bulky goods. www.volvoce.com

KOBELCO

KOBELCO CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY EXPANDS OPERATIONS ACROSS ITALY Japanese manufacturer continues to strengthen dealer network in Europe.

W

hile 2020 has been no ordinary year, Kobelco Construction Machinery Europe B.V. (KCME) has worked hard to continue pursuing opportunities for growth in key European markets. With this in mind, the Japanese manufacturer is pleased to announce its expansion of operations in Italy, including the addition of a new dealer, EMAC, and the expansion of existing dealers into new regions.

Kobelco first entered Italy in 2016 as a result of increased demand for mini excavators and heavy machinery, and over the past four years, has grown its coverage across the whole of the mainland, and more recently, the surrounding islands of Sicily and Sardinia. Despite a difficult start to 2020 with the outbreak of the Covid-19 global pandemic, Italian operations have now stabilised and the Government’s focus is on rebuilding infrastructure as part of its recovery plan. As a result, the need for construction equipment in Italy has increased significantly, with a specific requirement for the construction of bridges and tunnels as well as maintenance of the country’s ports. As we begin 2021, KCME considers Italy to be one of the most important markets for excavators alongside Germany, France and the UK. With a focus on high performance and productive machinery with low fuel consumption, Kobelco excavators are in high demand, and in particular, the demand for heavy

01 - Construction Equipment - JUNE 2021

28

machines, including demolition, is expected to grow. At the other end of the scale, Italy is a key market for Kobelco mini excavators, and in the mid-range, there is significant demand for the SK140SRLC-7 in north east Italy, where 35-40 units are expected to be working on jobsites by the end of June. The SK210SNLC-10E and SK240SN-10E also remain popular machines for the Alpine region due to their super-narrow undercarriages. EMAC, a family-owned company established in the 1960s, covers the Lombardia region, particularly in the Bergamo and Brescia provinces. Specialising in all sizes of construction machinery, including demolition, they have recently sold a Kobelco SK550DLC-10, SK400DLC-10 and some other large excavators. Sergio Bassan Srl is a family-run company based in north-east Italy and was one of Kobelco’s first authorised Italian dealers. Initially covering Verona, Venice, part of Emilia Romagna and part of Lombardy,

KOBELCO

Additional updates to the Italian dealer network include the recruitment of two additional dealers to cover Kobelco’s interests in Sicily. FTS specialises in the sale and service of mini and heavy excavators, while Yamoter specialises in heavy machinery. And, following its recent territory extension into Calabria and Puglia regions, Bruno Gruppo has now become the largest official Kobelco dealer in Italy, covering 16 of the country’s southern provinces. In light of its significant operational expansion across Italy, KCME has further invested in its Italian field team, including the appointment of a new Regional Sales and Marketing Manager, Christian Costantini. Based in Perugia, Christian joined KCME in June having previously worked for a competitor construction machinery brand for over 10 years. Despite the travel restrictions imposed by Covid-19, Christian has already managed to get to know all the Italian network. “Italy is an important – and growing – market for Kobelco and so I’ve been on a steep learning curve over the past seven months,” he explains. “We currently have ten dealers across Italy and I am already beginning to understand the differences between them and what their individual strengths are.”

the dealership has recently expanded to cover the province of Cagliari in Monastir, Sardinia, enabling it to be closer to its Kobelco customers on the island and strengthen its sales and aftersales service with a dedicated branch. Since its inception as a Kobelco dealer in 2016, Sergio Bassan SRL has enjoyed growth of around 20% each year and has carved itself a reputation for providing excellent customer service and aftersales support to its customers.

The Domenichini Group Srl initially covered Umbria but has recently expanded its operations into the Marche region. This development has enabled the company to offer more widespread coverage to its Kobelco customers, as well as a faster service. The Domenichini Group is also planning to expand its existing rental fleet to encompass more than 100 machines including excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers, telescopic handlers and aerial platforms.

“Kobelco’s extensive excavator line-up is ideal for Italy as we cover everything from the smallest minis for residential and infrastructure work, to the largest machines for demolition and construction,” adds KCME Business Manager for Italy, Marco Ferroni. “While mini and midi machines were in demand in the first half of 2020, we believe that the future focus will be on some of these larger machines, led by some of our new and largest dealers.” www.kobelco-europe.com

FPT INDUSTRIAL

FPT INDUSTRIAL LEADS A SWISS FUNDED PROJECT FOR ALTERNATIVE FUEL IN HEAVY DUTY ENGINES Being ever more sustainable is one of the strategic objectives that FPT Industrial is facing, and it is also a major challenge. The requirement to reach the European CO2 emission targets in 2025 and 2030 make the use of alternative fuels and e-fuels possible paths to addressing these challenges.

DME has been industrially used for decades, mainly as a propellant in aerosol cans as it is nontoxic, odourless and can be absorbed in the troposphere. From a storage and refuelling point of view DME is like LPG. It is liquid at very moderate pressure levels. The overall goal of the project is to advance the understanding of using DME as an alternative to Diesel in the industrial goods sector and demonstrate clean combustion at comparable efficiency levels. Since DME combustion produces practically no particle emissions, a comparably simple SCR system, without the need for a particle filter may be enough to comply with strict emission standards.

F

ollowing its DNA of leading research and technological innovation, FPT Motorenforschung in Arbon, Switzerland, is developing an innovation project into the use DME, an alternative fuel in an 11-liter heavy duty engine. DME (Dimethyl-ether, CH3-O-CH3) is a suitable fuel for compression ignition engines and can be produced from several renewable sources. Its chemical properties allow for, with the correct engine hardware configuration and calibration, very low NOx and particle emissions, whilst maintaining high engine efficiency. There are, however, some challenges in the use of DME as a fuel, particularly in terms of the fuel injection equipment.

The project is funded by SFOE (Swiss federal office for energy) and the test bench is operated at Empa Dübendorf, where the Company has invested heavily in the infrastructure adaptations necessary for DME. The first experimental data are showing some very promising results in terms of CO2 reduction, along with very low NOx and particle emissions, together with similar engine efficiency to Diesel. For FPT Industrial, the project contributes to the innovation activities of its Research and Development center in Arbon, Switzerland. One of its seven global R&D locations, this is the Brand’s excellence hub for advanced technologies, where both Common Rail technology and the HIeSCR (High Efficiency Selective Catalytic Reduction system) were developed. www.fptindustrial.com

CASE

MACHINES FOR DEMANDING JOBSITES: CASE CRAWLER EXCAVATORS AT WORK THROUGHOUT EUROPE CASE Construction Equipment’s crawler excavators have recently been deployed across a diverse and challenging range of applications throughout Europe. The machines have been praised for their adaptability, efficiency, power and comfort, crucial factors in the kind of jobsites where the crawler excavator machines are at work.

A

s Giuseppe Santo, Crawler and Midi Excavator Product Manager, CASE Construction Equipment Europe, explains “the CASE crawler excavator range is designed to meet the demands of any jobsite. The machine’s features are geared towards versatility, power and unique precision, which explains why we are seeing them being used in a huge range of applications throughout Europe, delighting customers in the process.” Compact build for tough mountain roads The compact build of the CASE crawler excavator machines mean they are ideal for operating in limited space. A CX145D SR is one of a handful of machines on the market where the cabin can complete a full rotation with minimal risk of coming in to contact with the job environment. For this reason, Italian company Bancoline (who specialises in road maintenance, demolition and building,) chose to use the machine to maintain a series of mountain roads. “Our operator loves the machine,” said Mauro Goss the owner from Bancoline. “Working on these tightly packed mountain roads at altitude means a machine with CX145D SR’s manoeuvrability is essential and a great time saver.” Power and precision after a natural disaster When a storm hit North East Italy in October 2018, thousands of acres of forest was destroyed overnight. Moena, located in Trento, not far from the devastation, was tasked with the cleanup operation, purchasing a CASE CX245D SR equipped with a unique “harvester” attachment to do so.

01 - Construction Equipment - JUNE 2021

32

“We were already impressed with the CX145D SR but needed something slightly more powerful for the job at hand,” said Turri Michele the owner, from Malé in Val di Sole. “The CX245D SR delivered this in abundance. Its tracking force meant we were able to quickly remove all the damaged trees with ease, and with the telematics solution fitted the harvester attachment also allowed us to keep track of the length and diameter of each tree cut.” Spanish based Maderas Marcos also operates in the forestry sector, this time using a CASE CX210D. CASE dealer

trees in order to prevent pollution and to avoid accidental fires.” said Rodolfo, the owner.

“The power and the precision of the CX210D has been perfect for this application. Overall, we are very happy with the machine. Our relationship with the dealer has grown and through that, we know that we’re buying equipment that is reliable and helps us with our main customer ENCE, which is a leading Spanish producer of eucalyptus pulp and biomass renewable energy. They use plant residue and waste to create clean energy as well as maintaining unkept

Exceptional fuel efficiency during ground clearing France’s Potin TP, a CASE customer for over 18 years, operates a fleet of 20 CASE machines, of which one is a CX350D. This was recently at work digging the foundations for a new office block and green space. While doing so, it was able to save five litres per hour of fuel, as Thomas Cochet, Potin TP’s operator with 14 years of experience in crawler excavators, explains: “I like the Series because it’s

easier to access for maintenance and everything is close at hand. The low fuel consumption and thus reduced CO2 emissions are an amazing surprise which is not only good for the environment but results in cost savings.” Demolition at any height Demolition of tall buildings with traditional excavators can often present issues. Fitting the machine with a 21-metrelong extended arm is one way to tackle this, as German-based Paul Kamrath Ingenieurrückbau GmbH recently demonstrated with a CX350D.

01 - Construction Equipment - JUNE 2021

33

CASE

Sebastian Morsmann, the operator said: “The CASE CX350D can be controlled safely and precisely. The attachment reacts very directly to every control movement and I have good feedback from the joysticks. When working with long equipment, the tilting cabin is a major help as you always have a clear view of the tool and the CASE maximum view monitor, with its bird’s eye and panoramic view improves safety a lot. Compared to other machines, the cabin is more spacious and better equipped”, points out Sebastian.

01 - Construction Equipment - JUNE 2021

34

Demolition is also the focus for Italian company P.R.A, which operate a CASE CX370D with a two-piece boom. “The CASE CX370 two-piece boom was what we needed. The manoeuvrability, hydraulics, and consumption are all exceptional and ideal for the jobsites we work on. In addition, the boom and arm are robust, and the undercarriage is easy to clean. That’s why I strongly recommended CASE!” said Matthias, the P.R.A operator. The future of the CASE Crawler excavators “We are proud that customers who work in challenging and demanding fields

CASE

choose CASE for their unique jobsites. “This is why CASE as a manufacturer always strives to be attentive, whilst capturing market trends and continuously seeking to innovate and provide machines that directly deal with operators’ needs,” continues Santo. “On one hand, we have the responsibility to not change what makes CASE excavator’s unique – its outstanding operator comfort which, can satisfy the most demanding operators. Its best balance between speed and controllability with an unpaired fuel and energy saving – and on the other, the continuous

improvement is part of our daily work and this is what we are doing. “Despite COVID-19, we have stayed focussed and are preparing for our next generation of machines by taking proper consideration of the growing needs for versatility and leveraging partnerships with CNH Industrial brands. All machines will be made in Japan and will include the 20 and 24-tonne narrow undercarriage mono and two- piece boom. “We know more key trends have emerged over the last few years and we will continue listening to our customers and investing in new developments. These are the essential elements that underpin our

ability to move forward and prosper together. We have the resources and competencies to ensure that we take all the steps required to do so,” he concluded. www.casece.com/emea/en-uk
