09:00-10:30 A Symposium on the topic ‘How can Academia collaborate with students' associations in order to bridge the gap between pharmaceutical studies and academic research?’
How do Professionals envision this collaboration? In the first part of the session, students will be given the opportunity to hear a professional point of view on the topic. The speakers will then provide students with case-study examples of the initiatives that worked at their universities and share many useful tips and tricks on how to become more engaged in research. They will also elaborate on how they envision the collaboration between students, student’s associations and Academia for the future. EPSA Presentation and Science-related projects Following the Symposium, a presentation about the European Pharmaceutical Students’ Association will be held, focusing on opportunities that EPSA provides to students on local, national and European level. Also, the science-related projects that are developed in the Association, such as the EPSA Students’ Science Publication and the Science Day will be further elaborated, allowing students to become engaged in scientific research. ŠS SFD & DŠFS Presentation and Science related projects Slovenian representatives will present ŠS SFD projects related to science and elaborate on the opportunities that ŠS SFD can provide to Slovenian students in order to increase students’ knowledge and engagement in research. Speaker: Anže Vasle, President of Students’ Section of Slovenian Pharmaceutical Society.
