Tech Tour 1

Riverway Drive Duplication Infrastructure Tour

We will visit the Riverway Drive Duplication project which will improve traffic flow and reduce congestion over a 3km section of the network. Delegates will learn how the site-specific impacts and other challenges are being managed. The tour will include an overview of the project deliverables and an inspection of some of the work currently being undertaken.

Port of Townsville

This tour offers delegates a behind the scenes look at the operations of Northern Australia’s largest general cargo and container port with more than $10 billion in cargo value moved through the Townsville Port annually.

Humes Production Facility

Offering a unique insight into the technology and engineering utilised to create precast and prestressed concrete products, the facility tour will guide delegates through the various manufacturing operations and quality control processes.
