Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, Bsc1 : In the first year of bachelor at AAM, the students follow three kind of ateliers, the vertical one which is the Mario Botta Atelier of Architecture Planning, and the horizontal ones which are Riccardo Blumer Atelier of Design and Cantafora & Ruf Atlerier of Painting.
01. Mario Botta Atelier : - Territorial model of Ticino, 1:2000 - Patio House - Our first individual project which consisted in the densification of an area through patio houses. Each student had to design a patio house and the result would be a densified neighborhood.

02. Riccardo Blumer Atelier: - ‘Ventaglio’ Origami exercise - This project consisted in designing a repetitive detail with paper and then applying it to a 180° opening shape which would create a ‘human wing’.
- Ittiosaur sceletron with 1x1cm wood cubes - This was the second exercice of Blumer Design Atelier where each student had to recreate an Ittiosaur’s bone with 1x1cm wood cubes. This bone would after be equilibrated in a metallic stick and all the pieces together would complete the Ittiosaur’s sceletron. - Contemporary dance and meditation - The process of equilibrating the bones in their positions was done through controlled movements of each student which in the end created a contemporary dance coreography.
03. Arduino Cantafora & Annina Ruf Atelier: - Study drawing of a Horse (Stubbs) - Painting of Horse sceletron and muscles
Specific Architectural Solutions : SAS is an architecture studio based in Lausanne, Switzerland where I had the opportunity to work for 6 months.
