As an architect and designer, my vision centers around working with the many multiscalar variables in the design process, and creating integrated design solutions.
This holistic approach considers the urban fabric -the macro context- harmonizing with existing structures, historical and social elements, while also addressing urban challenges. The building or space serves as the -physical container- for all human activities, balancing form, function, and aesthetics, and -the content- all spaces that creates sensorial and emotional experiences, enhancing spatial qualities, generating a sense of place.
2013 - ACADEMIC WORK - LIC. ARCHITECTURE FINAL PROJECT AV. 3, SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA
COLLABORATION WITH DESIGNER ARIANA ROJAS, DESIGN DIRECTOR RAQUEL FISCHEL
CONCEPT
Contemporary urban museum project: experimental, recreational, educational and participatory, through a thematic route of the city as museum.
El Paseo de las Damas, holds several declared architectural heritage buildings and spaces, such as the avenue itself. It represented the East entry to the city of San José, an iconic walkway in the identity of the historic urban fabric.
SOLUTION
The project raises the possibility that visitors participate in the use and production of urban space in a historic and symbolic area of San José, where the idea of the museum is reinterpreted not as a place but as a concept to turn the city into a museum space that works as a didactic environment, a narrative of the city and its cultural heritage, thereby recovering a deteriorated area that has lost its identity.

RUTA 84º81 | MODULAR STATION
2013 - COMPETITION | FIRST PLACE SPACES FOR COMMUNITY PAVAS, SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA
COLLABORATION WITH ARCH. YARA TORUÑO
From a gesture born from the language of the railway line, a space platform for the Urban Train PavasCurridabat line is configured with a modular character: an efficient, accessible and flexible space for growth and repetition, able to adapt to any place, to the needs and the volume of users along the route. The volume is placed in an urban plaza where the connection and spaces of social cohesion are promoted in the community.
The module is configured from 8 steps. Its born from a segment or linear plane until it gets to an integral volume that functions as shelter and waiting space for train users, including advertising space and schedule information and cultural events in the area. Materials used to resume the industrial character and language of the railway line as primary structure, ensure long durability and low maintenance for greater efficiency and lower costs.

ECOTONO CULTURAL
ECOTONO CULTURAL
UMBRAL DE LAS AMERICAS
CONCEPT
The border stops being the blockage and conflict zone, and is displayed as a bridge of mediation, as a space of transfronterity. Where by the transgression of the boundary the edge is blurred as a platform of physical, social and cultural convergence, an icon of the busiest border in the world. The Ecotono as a symbiotic area where the highest points of interaction and contact between them are gradually generated .
SOLUTION
The Platform uses the structure of Tijuana River channel, to generate a topography that is born from the same ground, where the volume does not obstruct or emphasizes the edge visually or physically.
Looks for the exhibition of culture and identity as a reflection of the other. Generates confrontation from the void, as the element that unifies us, as a space "of everyone and anyone."
"The Boarder as ECOTONO should not be considered a dividing line, but rather a connection line: an area of symbiosis"

VETTA WATER VENUE
2017 - ACADEMIC WORK | MASTER INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
MILAN, ITALY
COLLABORATION WITH RCH. VIPUL AURORA - DIS. MICHELE CAPONIGRO
CONCEPT

A 27
Beyond the preservation of a building there is a historical legacy that is proposed to disclosure . It is inclined to intervene the work in which is evident the past and present action, two actors in the same Past architecture is the one who hosts the content and the story you want to tell. Present architecture seeks to strengthen and highlight these elements, in a dialogue of harmony.
The project involves reprogramming the operational space of the museum to rehabilitate and enhance its exhibition halls. The goal is to create a clear museological narrative by designing areas that effectively display the history, tools, photographs, and elements from the period. NEW PHASE | LYCEUM VARGAS CALVO
2014 - PROFESSIONAL WORK | ARQUITECTURA TOTAL SAN PEDRO, SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA
COLLABORATION WITH ARCH. LUIS AGUILAR - ARCH. FEDERICO SALAS
CONCEPT
When it comes to public educational infrastructure, the prefabricated concrete structures have been a technical- aestethic tradition implicating socio-economic factors around different comunities of the country. Given the lack of spatial and social qualities of this pattern, the project seeks to brake with this paradigm and reinterpret the spatial relationships between the two main elements: classroom and aisle.
SOLUTION
Seeking not only to solve the new functions required, but to create an input to educational infrastructure, the project separates the classroom from the aisle with bridges to potenciate noise reduction, natural lighting and ventilation in the interior as well as allowing the halls to become an area of reunion, study and social interaction between students. The built environment, designed as organic spaces becomes the third teacher, a space of appropiation.

CORTEZA VERDE
CONCEPT
Corteza Verde is envisioned as a place where the stresses of life disappear and the wonders of nature reconnect us with ourselves and our true passions. This physical space, harmoniously blended with its natural surroundings, is designed to enhance social and personal activities. It is a place to enjoy with family, friends, your other half, or in the comfort of your own company. The topography will dictate the shape of the development, allowing it to adapt to its unique form. Trees, scenery, and built environments will work together in harmony.
SOLUTION
It is conceived as a house in the tropics that flows with the landscape, featuring light structures mounted on stilts that allow nature to continue its way. The under-floor spaces let vegetation thrive and interact with the project, much like moss interacts with tree bark. These floating spaces play with the land’s topography to enhance airflow, views, and interactions. The design layout integrates various spaces, all accessible from central common courtyards and connected by wooden paths that follow the natural contours of the land.
